    Just in from the game and I must say with 5 mins to go, I did not see that scoreline. But, hey ho, a win is a win. I thought big Effe had a good game as Virgil, but big Dirk made a great contribution when he came on. IMO.

    Chelski go 3 up. A good pal of mine has gone over there to support West Ham. However to quickly explain his Dad is a Londoner from the East End and a life long West Ham supporter, now lives in Ireland and he was bringing his Dad to the match. Great guy I feel very sorry for him..

    The last ferry from Cairnryan is about 11.30. As I said a bit tight for midweek games. The buses travel in convoy though and I think the ferries hold back if the buses are delayed. The buses can’t leave the bus park though till plod lets them so I’m not aware of any reason for Irish fans to leave early.

    It’s normally the same people who leave early every time. I suppose if someone has to leave early to get to their work and it’s a case of leave early or don’t go at all then you could understand it. Otherwise it’s just to beat the traffic or because they have better things to do with their time. Maybe the ticket prices are too low?
