    There’s no doubt Barca players make a great team but it’s depressing to see how well-schooled they are in claiming fouls, feigning injuries against them and in committing cynical fouls. Professionalism some call it.

    Putting up a decent showing here. Moving the ball well at times.

     

    Dare I say we need to be a bit naughty? Break their rythym at times with a trip here or there? Barça ain’t shy in slowing us down that way.

    The Bhoys are playing well.wondering what Barca will be like when Messi call’s it a day.

     

     

    We need a couple of buzzbombs in our team alongside Broony who in my biased opinion is the best player on the pitch.

    The most depressing thing about it PATMCGRATHTAKESAPENALTY is that they everyone knows that they don’t need to do it. They are good enough to just play off of their talent.

     

     

    World football is so in the shitter that this is now the acceptable face of winning.

     

     

    You have talent the likes of which we could only dream of playing for Celtic embarrassing themselves with impunity.

    We’ve competed well, their goal was a thing of simple beauty, they make passes few other teams do, I think we’re still well in it but I fell we need someone to go at them.

     

     

    It’s not coming off for Rogic, so I’m guessing we’ll see one of the wingmen sooner rather than later..

    We’re probably trying to play too much football.

     

     

    I would have 8 in our half and crowd out the space for their front 3.

     

     

    Then a long ball might get SS and MD in a 2 v 2 situation.

     

     

    Think the ref has been ok. Our guys have fallen over as well.

    Disappointing goal. Ball watching while a runner drifts past the defence to score, just like the last game.

    I didn’t expect anything else of Barcelona but to play act every chance they get, poor goal plenty back but nobody preventing the pass, great save CG kept it 1.0 we need to replace Rogic and McGregor but with Sinclair looking like he took a dull yin that will scupper that idea, not created a clear chance but they look very cocky to the point of overconfidence at the back, may get a chance or two next half. Cmon the Hoops

    The cynical small fouls in the middle third are an established tactic of big European teams.

     

    We have never really adapted to this ploy.

     

    Always think of Liverpool knocking us out on goal difference when McMannaman was allowed to run from his own defensive zone to score.

    …. I will admit that, last season, I thought that we had seen the best of Izzy … but he has done a good job since coming back into the team for KT.
