I wondered when Media House walked away from Sevco a couple of weeks ago that it was a strange move.
Why leave the firefighting to Jabba (no laughing at the back) , who couldnae blow oot a match.
I think Charlotte has a lot more to come on Jack(please let it be so).
At the risk of being accused of being a hun I’d prefer it if we had a de facto owner of the Club who was actually interested enough to attend games.
And who didn’t have views like this:-
“Rangers are a fantastic club with a great history. They will, in not too long a time, be back in the SPL. I have no doubt about that.
“And they’re needed for Scottish football because of their following, the size of the club and especially their history. We certainly would like to contest with them every week. We believe we have a better team and management structure.
“For us, it’s disappointing that they are not there but that’s decisions by the various clubs and leagues and we accept those.
“Rangers are one of the great clubs in Britain and we have to acknowledge that.
“They are a motivation for us to go along and beat them in every Old Firm match, so we miss that opportunity.”
As it is I can’t quite dispel the suspicion that we are being taken for mugs.

I too wrote a letter of complaint to the BBC following the comments of McLean and Nevin, but to no avail.
In my opinion the DR, Sun, Herald, Scotsman etc. can write anything they want. Radio Clyde can say anything it wants. They are commercial organisations that will be judged by the market – they will ultimately wither on the vine if no one reads or listens to their product (and more fool any Celtic fan who does).
The BBC is a different matter altogether. None of us has a choice when it comes to paying for their product. I was extremely disappointed by the Club’s response (or lack thereof) to the comments of McLean and Nevin. Indeed, I have been pretty underwhelmed by their lack of comment as the corruption in Scottish football has become blatantly apparent over the past couple of years.
Given what CF has published this evening it will be a dereliction of duty if the Board do not pursue this and the BBC at the very least is forced to issue a public apology to Celtic Football Club and its supporters.

Totally agree with your comment. The person that made the editorial decision should be made to explain why the subject was brought up. I was bitterly disappointed with the clubs response to the LNS findings. This should have been challenged by the Club, especially the thinking behind the conclusion that despite £48m paid in EBT’s no sporting advantage was gained. Common sense tells otherwise. I spent good money for ST’s through a lot of those years and certainly feel cheated. I think the Club were correct to keep quiet when Rangers went into Administration and for subsequent events after that, but the tipping point for me was the LNS findings. Sadly I don’t think on this occasion we will hear anything from the club on the matter, sincerely hope I am wrong.

I saw 20 mins of him on Wednesday ..not wildly impressed ..but the bhoy appeared to be trying ..,and looked like he had an idea what to do

To be fair, Bangura was a dud the first time i seen him, came on as a sub and ball was bouncing off him. I said dud and was proved right.
Balde, I’ve seen twice and again struggles to control a ball. The only thing going for him is his strength, looks like he can push any defender off the ball. I can see why they thought rough diamond but I’m not convinced. My bet is on dud.
What was wrong with Balde’s game today ? He had the ball hoofed to him miles from goal and when he was isolated. Few, if any player could have done anything with this “service”. Later on he had a decent attempt on goal and narrowly failed to play Tony Stokes in with a 1-2.
Pf Ayr- I am probably not intelligent enough to make my point but I really despair when I read or hear fellow Celts complaining on here.
This great site must have the cleverest football fans in the world but I could greet when the ‘ spend more money and raise the wage bill ‘ brigade don’t just have their say but tell the rest of us we are idiots.

Just read the lastest on TSFM and catching up a bit . Absolutely raging, disgusted etc etc but no not surprised. I will probably get shot down in flames for this but…….Celtic must get involved now surely . Some will say they cant act on what may be false claims but it has to be spoken about , even Roy Greenslade is talking about Charlotte now. If not I am definitely out this time

Today we struggled, an entirely new team, comprising fringe, youth and first teamers catching up on their pre-season. Celtic failed to get into threatening position for most of the game, particularly in the first 70 minutes. I assume Gladbach had their first eleven on display. Celtic contrived to cross the ball (excluding corners) eventually, but not until the second half, it was overhit. Balde is a 6 3″ and I presume someone who will benefit from a cross into the area ? He did ok on Tuesday and had an attempt on goal today, few did.

Do you really think Balde will be given 4 years to be moulded into a player? How many months did Bangura get nevermind years. Same goes for Miku, Lassad. The sad truth is as a striker he will be lucky to get until Christmas to produce
