    Fanandpatriot- thanks that explains the O’Reilly issue, however there may be more to it – I’m sure we got someone in and they either hadn’t played for the first team in the chain or their season started and finished at a different time – forgive me I don’t have details but I dug this out:

     

     

    “Currently, under the FIFA Transfer Regulations, a football player is only allowed to be registered with a maximum of three clubs in one season. This also applies regardless of what country that player has plied his trade in, whether that is in Europe, Africa or South America.

     

     

    During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. However, a player may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season if he has moved between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (ie, start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring). This is only allowed if he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs.”

    Really enjoyable afternoon. Good performance by the team. Great to see so many new fans at the stadium today. So many really appreciating and enjoying the experience the others take for granted week in week out. Likewise good to see the Buckie folks enjoy their day out also.

    How weird that rangers beat Betis at their place and yet Barcelona can’t seem to do that tonight.

    i have many pet hates in life

     

     

    but one of them is going into a boozer that claims it has 2 or 3 satellite boxes so can show 2 or 3 different live sport at the same time.

     

     

    but they just have shite on their tellys even when there is top live sport on other channels

     

     

    go to places in toon like walkabout or rhoddie dhus and they know the score because their staff know what to do with the channels

     

     

    so celtic – obviously no one in your stadium bars just now knows anything about live sport on the telly 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Just in from the game, hope everyone travelling gets home safely, lots of debris on the roads to Milngavie.

     

     

    First game of the season for me, I was in 115 the negativity towards MJ was unbelievable, guy behind me made a sarcastic comment when he set up the goal.

     

     

    I’m not a happy clapper but always support anyone who is wearing the jersey.

     

     

    VAR will destroy football in its current state, my 88 year old was fed up with it

    Gerrybhoy – now that the dilithium crystals are working again – it is possible to play for three teams in a season, the devil is in the detail. I don’t really care, he’s not for us. Unless of course he is😀
