  1. Let’s all do the huddle

So were you even at the game ?

If so and you never saw plenty of non regulars today loving it and not moaning about the weather then you clearly weren’t looking.

    Buffoons indeed.

I get how Mark Wilson gets a gig – ex. Celtic player charged for assault on a Celtic player. Bonner’s heir apparent.

McFadden?? Dearie me. I honestly think they deliberately dumb down the product lest anyone with half a brain watches it.

    Dumbed down indeed.

Really massive effort to big up the cup and the BBC possible ties once Viaplay pick Celtic game for their live match.

  4. Belmont Brian, part of my ancestry is from Clare and I have a shared ancestor with Muhammad Ali, stopped looking for anything else as that can’t be topped.

Enjoyed todays game as don’t get to many these days, thought that the effort put in by the players given the opposition was great, atmosphere in general was good

  5. BELMONTBRIAN re: Ali

The Ali center here in Louisville is superb and incredibly moving. I’m due another visit.

BELMONTBRIAN re: wallet falling on foot.

    Brilliant!

  6. Just reading,Ange hoping to get Connor Gallagher.Transfer price,£ 60 million.

If the worst happens in the summer,I hope we remember.

  7. 10days to go – we need 2 more experienced quality players – rodgers has told the board – time for the board to flex our financial muscle – striker and LB essential

  8. Well that was a day.Real shame about the weather but as Leftclick says no problem to the young mob.

There was loads of them, heading excitedly to see Celtic, going up the Celtic way i had to slalom all the parent and their children getting their pics taken, smiling, their excitement palpable and really infectious.i really hope you enjoyed it and come back as soon as

Good performance by Celtic, good look at support players, great to see them all vying for a place, all worked hard.

Seen a young man coming from Dalmarnock train station drinking the buckie goin to see Celtic play Buckie.

Well done to Buckie Thistle and thank you for bringing a great and jovial crowd, like our own a fair sprinkling of young fans,i hope Celtic are now your big team also hope youz go on and win your league and build yourself up using your gate cut well.

  9. “LETS ALL DO THE HUDDLE on 21ST JANUARY 2024 7:24 PM

Really enjoyable afternoon. Good performance by the team. Great to see so many new fans at the stadium today. So many really appreciating and enjoying the experience the others take for granted week in week out. Likewise good to see the Buckie folks enjoy their day out also.

thats probably the wankiest post ive read on here in 20 years”

Even if I agreed with your comment — which I certainly don`t — your post would have taken its `w ——st ` post title. Very poor.

My wee yin returned home around 8pm, picked uo and dropped with her pals dad (via Macdonalds) she is hyper / buzzing .. I asked her how it was…

Her answer …. “Amazingly hope we get another home draw, dad, I love the Green Brigade” … out of the mouths of children … speak the truth 🍀

  11. don’t know about the good times BRB but watch out for the wind or it could be you who,s rolling

Remember some of us mere mortals still need to work for a living … my nephew just textd .. flight from Dublin to Glasgow cancelled so him & his wife having another night in Dublin … ye canny hide money

  13. Ok Celtic ,let’s have a game against Buckie Thistle ,nextpre season for the fans who travelled today in horrendous conditions.

    Football is nothing without supporters

Really enjoyable afternoon. Good performance by the team. Great to see so many new fans at the stadium today. So many really appreciating and enjoying the experience

    ****^^

Couldn’t agree more. ST holder next to me said same thing. Grandson’s wee friend was thrilled to the nth degree just being there and soaking (sic) up the atmosphere. Had to drag him out even after the walk round by the team and Brendan at the end. Swears blind that Brendan specifically waved to him.

Full marks to the Buckie Thistle lads on the pitch – no cloggers ( well one, but he was hardly a clogger) and it could have been very easy for them to descend into thuggery but they didn’t and deserved the warm round of applause from those of us who watched them go back up the tunnel after getting a huge ovation from their own, very impressive, supporters.

Just in after Scary drive back down the road and a bit scared to look at the damage that may be outside. Ach, it will wait till the morning.

  15. Great to see Daniel Kelly, an EK Bhoy, making his debut today. Was involved with EK Caledonian Thistle when he was a youngster and you could see he had something. Fingers crossed it’s the first of many.

  16. KELVINBHOY at 10:47

Always good to see one of our own breaking through. Looks to have a bit about him. Seems to have bulked up a bit.

Talking about bulking up ….. Rocco Vata is unrecognisable from the skinny kid I saw a few years ago.

That’s not to say he’s the answer to our striker search. Took his chance well. Any better/ worse than Oh?

  17. Weather terrible … MissGFTB home around 8pm, her taxi drivers don’t support Celtic .. I asked her how was the game … her answer … “we played well but the Green Brigade were magic” … some fans should never underestimate what the GB bring to the table .. not any better than than the next person … but a massive attraction to our youngsters … 🍀

  18. Today was like a testimonial game, with all the kids who can’t get to games. Unfortunately, they had to listen to that other mob, next to the main stand who just sing IRA chants, anti rangers stuff and anti polis crap.

  19. Vale Bhoy … think your full of shoite mate ..

My kid was at the game today, sent me a few “what’s apps” of Celtic fans loving it …. In my opinion you are a Hun who wants to try and annoy posters on here

    Keep at it Vale Hun

  20. GFTB

You mean I hide the IRA, singing about huns and polis well.

But, I turn out on days like this, against Highland League opposition, to listen to that IRA shite and rangers shite.

The worst bit about it is that strangers near us were actually joining in the IRA stuff.

    Pathetic.

After 60 odd years of supporting Celtic I don’t need to justify myself to you.

    Thank you very much.

Does supporting Celtic mean supporting the IRA, being obsessed about the huns and singing all that crap?

    I think not.

  21. Vale person

    I don’t think you are a Celtic fan …

Each to their own but I think you are never a Tim, I could be incorrect…. But am probably correct

  22. Good evening all. Lived here for 40 years and never felt or heard winds like this. Yes, I’m pn a farm, but dreading getting up in the morning a d checking for damage. The worse storm yet. HH

  23. Beneath contempt.

Explain what makes me not a Celtic fan.

Over 60 years of supporting; season ticket holder; bought the shares and everything associated with supporting the team.

    I even support Palestine.

    But, you know best.

    Aye, right.

    Goodnight.

And I hope you live in interesting times.
