Celtic v Dundee United

663

Under different circumstances, we would applaud, or stand in silence, to mark the passing of Jim McLean, the former Dundee United manager, who died on Boxing Day.  McLean’s achievements in the Scottish game are eclipsed by few, perhaps only Jock Stein and Alex Ferguson.  His team United the country with wins on the European stage that could scarcely be dreamed of now.

During his term, United received an accolade from Uefa ahead of a Celtic game.  Post-match, he spoke warmly of the Celtic support, a generous moment.  I am glad United visit Celtic Park to mark his passing today, it is just a pity we are not all there to share it.

Anyone know a mobile mechanic in the North of Glasgow with Nissan X-Trail software?

Car is just out of bloody warranty and Engine management light came on a few days ago and now having to jump start each morning if using it. My normal mechanic is in hospital.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

  6. Lenny has a big problem for Saturday.Julliens injury has probably screwed up his plans big time.He now cannot think of playing Ajer at RB.He needs someone who can win defensive headers, which is not Ajers strong point if he plays him CH.He needs someone alongside.Does he trust Duffy?.Biton probably the best in the air.Wins plenty of duels.Play Broony and Soro to help the defence?Huns strong point, crosses into the box.

    Its a headache for Lenny.

My guess would be that Neil would keep things pretty much the same but play Duffy if Jullien does not make it.

  8. lets all do the huddle on

if bitton plays on saturday and does a nudge in the box like he did yesterday, the hun ref wont be able to point to the penalty spot quick enough

too many of our players cant help doing stupid shoves and barges in dangerous positions
