Just watching highlights from last night’s matches. Amazing that the Scottish goal line assistant could spot a handball in the box. The ball appeared to strike the Rostov player’s elbow which was pretty close to his body, so required pretty eagle-eyed vision. Amazing stuff.
Big night, some anxiety which will take an early goal from the bhoys to calm.
Hopefully the handwringers will not dominate the blog tonight with their tut tutting should someone dare have the temerity to display a flag that UEFA aren’t too keen on.

You panic merchants had better take a chill pill, looks like there has been a fire sale of flags and your favourite blame boys, the GB, aren’t even here yet. Could this be a level 5 dirty trick? If so it seems to have worked.

If you wear a t shirt with a Palestine flag logo does that qualify as an offensive fleg?
Or is it only if you take it off and hold it above your head?

LEIGH Griffiths will return to lead the line for Celtic tonight as the Hoops take on Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off.
The Celtic forward missed the Bhoys’ last competitive outing in the 5-0 win over Motherwell in the League Cup, but he’s back in action for Brendan Rodgers’ side tonight as one of three changes from the victory over the Steelmen.
Kieran Tierney and Kolo Toure are the only other two changes to the side, with Emilio Izaguirre and Saidy Janko dropping out, although there is a place for Janko on the bench.
The largely similar line-up from last week means Scott Sinclair will make his European bow for the Bhoys on a night where the Scottish champions will be looking for a positive result ahead of next week’s return leg in Israel.
And there will be live coverage of all the build-up and in-game action on the official Celtic Twitter account – @celticfc – for tonight’s 7.45pm kick-off.
Aye, all handsome lads but I’m more concerned about their playing ability

The flag debate is over now. I have absolutely no doubt there will be Palestinian Flags there and even if the match monitor doesn’t spot them, there will be plenty of enthusiastic Scottish media folk to draw his attention to them. The only issue is how hard UEFA will hit us.
Anyway that can wait for another day, it’s all about winning the tie, I think tonight will be a lot harder than the majority here seem to think.
I’d be happy enough with a one nil win but ideally a two nil should be good enough to see us through.

2-0 or 3-1. Not putting money on it because that would be a sure fire way to cause a reversal.

Big Big night for us all but a big show of faith from Rodgers to give that starting position to Rogic out of the other options and permutations he had to choose from.
Its a big compliment to him and its going to be very interesting to see what he makes of this opportunity.
