    i actually think winning the 8 cups in a row is more of an achievement than winning the 4 leagues in the same period because there is no comeback from losing a cup game – you are out the cup. whereas if you lose a league game or 2 then you still have the other 30-odd games to sort it out and we were overwhelming favourites to win all those leagues

     

     

    though i would take a league over a cup any day

     

     

    or just take both

    Well that was a tough watch BUT we completed the Quadruple Treble. Thanks to all the players and managers who took part in this great episode in CELTIC’s history. Don’t know whats wrong at Celtic but the way the team celebrated when Ajer scored looks like the majority of players are together.

     

    Enjoy tonight. You were nervious at penalties.? Think about the knuckle draggers both East & west slabbering about the thought of Celtic getting beat on penalties. The wailing wall of Edminston Drive will be busy tonight.

    so out in the car i went cos i couldnt watch the penalties.

     

     

    put the radio on, and that was tension enough.

     

     

    at the winning penaly i pamped the horn several times,

     

     

    which got me a two fingered salute from a workie in a van.

    Think of the carnage on here if Hearts had won the penalty shoot out…..the barricades at Celtic Park would have been very swiftly re-erected – we more than dodged just a bullet today – I’m thinking the pressure on our guys would have been immense – their bus being chased by an angry mob of Celtic supporters would have been at the back of their mind – so credit where its due – well done the bhoys – job done ☘️🍀☘️🍀

    Quadruple treble, let it sink in…..could have and should have had it won long before we did but that seems to be the Celtic way. God bless all our forefathers and mothers who have guided us down the road that leads to Celtic Park.

    Stamp from Naismith was a red. Barely analysed on tv

     

     

    Naismith yellow seemed to be an elbow. I didn’t see it again, so unable to say. Yellow for an elbow is unusual

     

     

    Challenge on Turnbull which resulted in him going off? Dont think we even received a free kick. Again, would like to have seen it replayed

    AN TEARMANN:

     

    Was at the son’s house to watch the game.His 3 sons all bedecked in the colours of the Celtic.Was in Clonard yesterday lit a candle for all deceased members of my family and CQNers who sadly passed away.I will take a walk to Clonard later.

     

    Take care in these worrying times.

    Thank God we didn’t win the champiions league the last four years as well….we’d have been going for a quadruple quadruple.

     

     

    Imagine the pressure.

     

     

    And if QuizBall was still on the go it would have been a quadruple pentuple……And oh what might have been if not for that bleedin Ross County….they would have halted the quest for a pentuple pentuple.
