    One of those occasions when you’ll remember where you were and who you watched it with. In my case it was my teenage grandson. So much history created today. The first team to win 4 successive Scottish Cup wins. The first team to win 40 Scottish cups and we also equalled Rangers (1872-2012) 7 Treble wins with our own Quadruple Treble! What’s not to like? It’ll never be equalled. Well done The Bhoys! The famous Glasgow Celtic!

     

     

    Incidentally, I’m really pleased for young Conor Hazard. He had a difficult game, only his third, but by God didn’t he redeem himself and become the hero of the hour.

    Chuffed with the record, really fantastic achievement, BUT

     

     

    We were atrocious today and really got away with one big time. What a bunch of panic merchants we have.

     

    Hate to say, but we will not win the league with that defence sadly.

     

    for the life of me , I cannot see why we were so poor in the second half. We lost a poor goal, but so what, but nerves, confidence disappeared.

    It is great to live through great historic moments in our clubs history. I just hope our young supporters will be able in the future to also live great moments. For someone who was in Lisbon in 1967, has been to two other European Finals and so many great finals and championships, I just hope life for us as Celtic Supporters will continue to give us more fond memories. Tonight is a night for rejoicing. Tomorrow the analysis of the game can take place. Off to celebrate with a gin and tonic.

    Just thinking back to the other three Scottish cups we have won in this sequence. None stands out as easy on the eye as I recall. All hard enough won?

     

     

    And this is the first time anyone has won 4 Scottish cups in a row. Not even the financially steroided zombie club could launder their way to that.

     

     

    4 in a row. With a chance at making it 5. That on its own is worth marking.
