  1. To all by brothers and sisters at Paradise today; Remember this time last year, “This is not the end it’s the beginning”.

I love you all, have a great day !!

  2. The Pantaloon Duck on

Your comments don’t surprise me. I think you have been given good advice. Take care of yourself and those around you. It will be good to have you around here again when the time is right.

Going to watch the game on CQN today, stuck in an office ‘working’

Working for an Irish company, I would have thought they would have shut the office down on a day like today, especially after all Celtic have done for Ireland….

Hope all those that are going have a great day, jealous as hell.

  4. CELTIC: Forster; Matthews, Loovens, Mulgrew, Izaguirre; Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Commons; Samaras, Hooper.

Subs: Zaluska, Cha, Lustig, McCourt, F. Twardzik, Stokes, Kayal.

Last game for some of the bhoys- Glenda & Paddy perhaps?

  5. timmy7_noted on

Not going to the game today due to a family communion so a bit pissed off if I’m honest.

Just read weasel ally’s comments in the SOS he is a horrible man.The man who asked for transparency reckons that the report from the SFA should not have been published before the appeal,so much for transparency eh? Although he is very happy that the panel names have been published and the liar even says he did not know the names of the previous panel,LIAR!! The quote from him in todays press:

“I am not sure the timing was ideal, well it was not” “whether is does prove prejudicial or not, theres probably only three men who can tell you that. You would hope it wouldn’t but you have to say that the timing of it at best is questionable”

WTF does he think he is,the arbiter of all that is right or wrong in Scotland?

I hope he stays long enough with the huns to get the sack.Weasel.

    Enjoy the day,lads and lassies.

I will be watching in Sharkey’s, but I’ll be thinking about all the last games of the season that I stood/sat at CP.

Some of them trophy days, most not; but always a privilege to be there.

    Savour it and remember it.

  7. Poached from off the ball………

Will the Green Brigade have to change their name now ?

  8. Morning Champs,

Was feeling a bit glum earlier as I won’t even be able to watch the match on telly due to work. I decided to wear my hoops anyway though because of the occasion. On my way in the door I met an Italian fella who has just started who, on spying my hoops, started singing I just can’t get enough!

    That fairly cheered me up.

Enjoy the party Bhoys, it’s been a long time coming.

    Hail Hail

McCoist is a buffoon. Publication of the report does not in any way influence the appeal UNLESS he thinks that perhaps the appeal panel should not have been allowed to see it either.

Charles Green is an anagram of Rangers Leech.

A portent of the evil to come?

Let’s hope so as he sucks the last drop of blood out of thems.

  12. 'crushed nuts?' 'Naw, Layringitis!' on

ranjurz presented ‘virtually nothing’ in support of their case of mitigation, not as much as a bank statement. hopefully weds panel will get to see it all.

  13. Just want to pass onto all bhoys out there to enjoy our day today, plenty celebrations topped off by jelly and ice cream!!!

With Fojut not signing now and our need for experience and quality is Van Buyten worth a 2 year contract?? While we’re there how about Olic the striker who isnt getting a game for Bayern and then top mit off with THG!! 3 quality players that would enhance our chances for CL??

  14. timmy7_noted on

My point exactly,it is at best a poor effort at news management and at worst a good old fashioned wee arra peepil moment. What really annoys me about his recent public performances is the knowledge that if this is what he is saying in public how bitter must he be behind closed doors???

    Liar McCoist everyones pal.

The man asking for transparency. And which party moved the FTTT to hear proceedings in private?

I think I see the problem now, rangers have been playing Monopoly with the characters from Cludeo.

With the help of the fortunes made from his involvement at Newcastle United, Freddy Shepherd could be on the brink of moving back into club ownership as part of a consortium taking over Glasgow Rangers.

Far be it for us to say whether this would be a good or bad thing for the humbled Scottish giants but this is definitely a club who have been ruined by the way modern football in the UK allows owners to repeatedly run their clubs/businesses into the ground before walking away.

The consortium is fronted by Charles Green who was previously chief executive at Sheffield United, with Freddy Shepherd and son Kenneth Shepherd both believed to be involved.

Green was involved with Paul Stretford in the Proactive Sports Management agency, with Stretford then teaming up with the Shepherds at the Triple S sports and entertainment group.

It is speculated that investment from abroad is also involved but as ever in UK football club ownership, nothing is ever seemingly straightforward.

  24. Not one of these various would be saviours has mentioned anything about the distinct probability that they will have a massive, as yet unassessed debt to repay, that of all their winnings during the EBT swindle years. Every single penny should be repaid. Not a single game won fairly for 20+ years. I think that sum will far outweigh all the other accumulated debt.

No matter who steps up to be the next patsy, that debt, that colossal shame will not go away. Scotlands greatest shame!
