  1. Good game eventually, you guys, you had a very poor first half, no goals to show for it, was so disappointed in all of you, but you came good from early in the second half, then drip fed me another 2 goals. Watching ‘live’ football on CQN for the first time CSC (notalljoineduptogether)

Off to bed, Taj Mahal tomorrow.

  2. It seems the Ref was “Deplorable”………..I hope he votes on Tuesday……….?????????

  3. The SFA are moving into 2nd gear now as we head closer to the TEN.

Where the f did they dig that one out from?

  4. Weeman67 he was appalling, as bad as I have seen from the MITB let them off with murder. Good 2nd half LG played well as did Mcgreggor Armstrong. Good stuff cmon Ross County tomorrow

  5. 3-0 3 points against a team who play football either sliding on their erchies or sitting on them.horrible football team.

The ref is yet another SFA cheat.

Well deserved rest now for our players hoping Broony and Micke don’t make the internatonal games.

Poor Bernie, he had no chance against the establishment……(Clintons)……….

  7. An absolute disgraceful performance from the cheat with the whistle, a disgrace to referees the world over, but will go down a treat in sectarianland.

What-who are the club scared of ?

Why won’t they speak out ?

As ever we have to play to a different set of rules to our oppo.

Obviously a level playing field is too much to ask for.

  8. Again as the team who dominate possession we give away the most fouls.

I’m pretty sure no other team in Europe can match our consistent foul play.

Teams who play us understand if they get into difficult situations to lean against us and fall as the ref will give foul.

Likewise the constant playing through the back of Celtic players is tolerated.

It was comical near the end when 2 back to back fouls went unpunished by ref who then allowed us to commit one as he was to embarrassed to do so.

I’m sure when Inverness play the huns they will adjust accordingly to the different refereeing standard?

  9. This will always be remembered as the presidential election when the KKK, KGB and FBI all supported the same candidate.

  10. the ref. what can i say thought we were booted all over the place in first twenty minutes.surely something has to be done about the standard of refs in the spl.

forgot we are playing in scotland.

That’s hardly a new thing for the US

  12. Some of CMcG’s passing today was superb.

He showed some truly sublime skill and vision when he set up Griff in first half and Sinky for our first goal.

  13. Good game.

Stuart Armstrong was running the show before being asked to stand in at right back. And continued to run the show from there.

His partnership with Roberts was great to see. His unrelenting runs up and down the park provided Patrick with the options that allow him to bamaboozle defenders.

    No failures. Broonie was great.

If we can build Simunovic fitness to the level where he can play more often then that would be brilliant because he is so reliable.

Tom Rogic is Magic. That’s all.

I like Armstrong, a real dynamo.

We slag off the hammer throwers we come up against yet give MOM to a guy that ran about a lot and missed a few easy chances.

Yet CMcG who set up 2 goals and was involved in the 3rd is seen as an afterthought to most fans.

  15. Fan-a-tic.

Well said. Muppets behind me were on his case from the first kick.

His contribution shit them up. But they couldn’t bring themselves to back him.

I’m ambivalent on religion but it always shocks me how right wing a lot of American Catholics are.

Particularly those of Irish and Italian persuasion.

  17. I also thought Bitton did well when he replaced Brown.

Perhaps the extra space helped but he varied his passing and had good movement.

Rogic was just Rogic and the hammer throwers really struggled to kick him or win the ball.

  18. Does anyone else suspect that referees are more likely to display an anti Celtic bias when Chris Sutton isn’t doing a live commentary?

Many thanks for the ticket today, glad I was not a jinx. Interesting to watch from pretty damn near my old seat in the TB era.

Thanks agin and Hail! Hail! from darkest Lanarkshire to Ayrshire.

  20. I think it’s more likely that each ref goes into our games believing that Celtic will win so they can always err on the side of the opposition without it affecting the game. Of course every once in a while these errs mean we lose the game. ** I’m not sure I’m using err correctly but I started so I’ll finish :O) **

  21. sixtaeseven - Gardez la Foi on

Watched the game with a French pal, a guy that knows his football.

He was incredulous, especially in the first half, at some of the “defensive”, “tackles” that the away team were putting in.

The ref seemed to ignore a few crunchers in or around the penalty area (guess who() but was pretty severe on others anywhere in midfield (it seems that we committed 15 against their 17 fouls – laughable.).

I think CFC should seek EUFA refs to manage their games. …

    Why not?

The current referee crop are … putting this politely … the same as the old crop!!!

  22. Chelsea 2 up on an Everton side adopting an ICT approach, with an understanding ref.

1 over the ball lunge, 2 late tackles high on the foot once ball was well gone, result in 2 fouls,1 yellow, in first 20 minutes.

  23. I enjoyed the win and the sound of Richie Foran acknowledging that Brendan has brought a Fear Factor back for visiting teams. It was frustrating at times but we were always dominant.

I just checked the foul stats and see we committed almost as many fouls as they did, 15 to 17. Anybody watching would have seen only one dirty team.

Stuart Armstrong was the star today but our captain and Scott Sinclair were not far behind. Well done Callum too who is making the most of his talents by working hard and showing a strong mentality.

I am just beginning to thaw out from that Baltic-klingly cold weather.

  24. THE HUDDLE

I think it’s more likely they just can’t help there natural bias.

And since there is no system in place to grade performance or make them accountable it will continue.

The fact that media pressure or scrutiny only falls on them if a decision favors Celtic also helps them retain there bias.

  25. WC

No need to apologise for your rant.

    You have good reason.

However, I think you should have brought this out before now.

The only way I think we can help is to bombard a contact at CP with, polite, requests to give us equal representation with the zombie XI, and provide a press accreditation, or whatever it takes.

  26. Very parky in Parkhead.

Never a pretty side industrial Inverness set their stall out to frustrate and went unpunished via good fortune and gormless boy scoutish Crawford Allan who was never on top of his form for 90 minutes..

When the away keeper starts wasting time in the first half the inevitable Celtic goal is usually just around the corner, although Celtic’s game plan of 3 -5-2 was wrecked in minutes. A hefty challenge left Mikel Lustig writhing in agony with an ankle injury that looked worrying as he hobbled off, a stunned Stuart Armstong who’d played very well slotted into the berth, much further back than he started. If he could only improve on his finishing he could start many more games, centre mid.

Caley made it to half time but only just Scott SInclair broke free and scored easily past the keeper for the opener, Leigh Griffiths took delight in tapping in the second after a parried shot and Tom Rogic hit home the third into the Gallowgate end, and Dembele had to make do with his assist.

Another game which Celtic won in a canter , the crowd was entertained and Brendan enjoyed his song.

What is your source for placing the Catholic Church in such dubious company?

I had thought that the overwhelming majority of Hispanic Catholics were behind the Democrats. It was only within the paler skinned Catholics that a nearer to 50:50 split emerges.

Despite the stupid opinions (“its a mortal sin to Vote Democrat” sic & sick) expressed by someone unknown in a San Diego parish bulletin, these were quickly disowned by the local Church:-

“Diocesan spokesman Kevin Eckery told the San Diego Tribune: ‘It’s not a mortal sin to vote for Democrats, number one. And number two, the church doesn’t take positions on this, and we’re not going to.'”
