A very touching post, in this Holy Week your dad will be in my prayers
Hope you and all the family get through this difficult period, but importantly you mentioned no more suffering, I and a lot of others can probably relate to that, it came a point with my own mother when you wish their suffering ends
Take care and am sure the tears of sadness will soon be replaced by tears of joy, they might leave us in body but they are always with us

Well I think a lot of fans are aware of the Celtic Graves Society but aren’t interested enough to follow what they are doing, or at least to attend the events.
Other perhaps than notifying local CSCs of forthcoming events I’m not sure what else the Society can be expected to do.

Not like you to miss the point. The question I asked was…
“So how come so many people know nothing about it?”
That’s why there were less than 100 there yesterday.
The Celtic Graves Society does a wonderful job. Plenty of cases worthy of Sherlock Holmes And Capability Brown.
But not much good if people don’t know about the events

I went up with Fr Tom yesterday. It was a lovely wee service. However, I wouldn’t berate Lenny until we know the reason he didn’t turn up.
As a side note, I was chatting with Peter Lawwell before the service and he commented on how mightily impressive the atmosphere was on Saturday; the Kilmarnock contingent were also very impressed by the noise, colour and support for the team throughout the match!

Regarding the atmosphere on Saturday. I was down at Newcastle the previous week, watching them stutter to a 2 – 1 win over the mighty Wigan, and on Saturday I took along my Newcastle companion to Celtic Park as my mate couldn’t make the game.
My visitor was mightily impressed by the noise, the colour, the chanting and general support for the team, contrasting it with the relative quiet of St. James’ park even though there were around 50,000+ fans at the Newcastle game. (As he pointed out, the Newcastle fans are in a constant state of anxiety, waiting for the worst to happen at any time!)
I even got him up for the huddle, despite his sore leg and although he moaned a bit about it I think he secretly enjoyed it. BTW he was very, very impressed with big Eboue, all 10 minutes of him!

Also, the only response I have had as to why the Huns V Us fixture has already been released is that it is because ` the Huns need the money`. True as that may be, what was the official reason given?
