Well done to Griffiths last night for his hat-trick not to shabby at all showing the big poser John Guidetti how it is done. H.H.

“While you’re in a listening mood, CQN’er Tommy Melly, an integral part of TeamOscar, is running the Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday for Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance. He’s also doing the Glasgow 10k in June and the Great Scottish Run in October, all for NCCA. You can do your bit in memory of Oscar, and for those kids who fight on, here.”
Feared the worst for that wee lassie but was hoping she would be found alive for her poor parents sake.

So the Tory party want to cut your benefits if you don’t submit to the treatment recommended by any medical expert you have been referred to by the DSS over medical claims:
“People who might benefit from treatment should get the medical help they need so they can return to work. If they refuse a recommended treatment, we will review whether their benefits should be reduced.”
Take these pills, the side effects may be awful but if you don’t we’ll cut your benefits.

No,keep him. As a reminder who NOT to vote for.
Also as a reminder that even if some of us buy a ticket for a raffle, donate food to a food bank or cash to an appeal like above, then foolishly mention it on here-!-we’re still the good guys.

Remember the old adage though mate, never judge a book by the cover. Some of those folks waking to the game may have had their backs taken off them at the station, they may have made a donation elsewhere, but I do share with you your sentiment.

You can’t just ignore people for their charitable efforts to do so might even be to disavow their virtue.
Oh and by the way, belated I too bought tickets for the memorial stone, it just slipped my mind that I should mention it.
Didn’t win a prize and never got an acknowledgement e-mail but the money most certainly left my account. I did it after the target was reached knowing that my contribution was going to Mary’s Meals.
And another belatedly, I contributed to the ad too and again I did so way long past the target being reached. Again I knew the objective had been reached and my money again was going to Mary’s Meals.
And another belatedly… nah! I bored with blowing Mary’s Meals trumpet.
I’ll boast to the very heavens above that I donate to Mary’s Meals and I don’t for one minute do it for attention or to have anybody slap me on the back and tell me how great a geezer I am. I do it to raise awareness and because kids are suffering and I can afford to do it at the moment.

Lovely day down here. Enjoyable evening yesterday at Celtic Park.
Good result, especially against a team who took the ole 10 man defense to new levels and even wore an orange strip. One wonders why……Hmmmm.
One also wonders why there is still a banner proclaiming the Celtic Ultras immediately behind where the Green Brigade congregate. I thought they were ideologically incompatible.
A wee complaint too from me (and similar murmurings from folk in the same section): why couldn’t the Celtic Foundation have organised the foodbank collection at other parts of the ground, as has happened with every other collection?

I couldn’t get out to the game last night even though I was very much looking forward to going. I didn’t contribute to the food donations but I saw the twitter pics and felt very proud of my fellow Tims. Fantastic effort and it should be shouted from the roof tops. After all supposed ‘drunken riots’ in Dundee, graffiti on toilet doors at Tynecastle and other nonsense are given maximum publicity in the rags. I congratulate those who donated, those who collected and sorted and I hope you are all walking around with a wee glow this morning.
