    Minx was buzzing like a wean in anticipation of the Wolfe Tones gig when I spoke to her in the Kerrydale after the match. All of us without tickets were scunnered at how shecht we were today.

    Soal true amigo. Game was on tv in the VB today. Can only see attendances dwindling further over the winter especially with the style of football we are playing.

    What I see is one forward, with several midfielders and wide players nowhere near enough to score.

     

     

    Proximity is key here.

     

     

    For those at the game you’ll have noticed a few speedy attacks from our flanks today ? How many targets did we have in the box, I’ll give you a hint it wasn’t two nor was it six. The plethora of non scoring midfielders trying to get up to support one forward just isn’t working.

    I can now go and help with my boy’s fitba on a Saturday and then go to the pub with him and watch the game .

     

     

    Although today it was the wife we had to watch in The King and I ( Brilliant )

    I met your Da in Vegas at the convention a few years ago.I played in his team at golf.He was a better goalkeeper,ha ha.He let me try on his Lisbon Lion jacket at the dinner dance ,I was over the moon and got my wife to take photos.He said if I ever bumped into Big Frank Haffey in oz I had to show him the photo and tell him he didn’t have one of those.(the jacket) Obviously a wee bit of goalkeeper rivalry there. Your Da was a lovely man.I thought i would tell you that. I can’t believe he,s got to pay to get into games. Please pass on my kindest regards. Pat fae Melbourne. HAIL HAIL

    Or do you want a knee jerk reaction, and bring in another manager?

     

    Who in 6 months is not providing immediate results/performances! What then, change again?

    I read BRTHs post earlier today with interest. BRTH made a valid point about Celtic selling its soul when it became a plc. At the time it was the only game in town and we had no option. Fergus did what he had to do and I commend him for that but he left us with a legacy. Fast forward 20 years. We are controlled by shareholders who may or may not have Celtics best interests at heart. The AGM is a sham. DDs single vote trumps everybody else’s. Celtic is not a democracy. It is run like a benign dictatorship by a dic who wants us to return to the dark old days of bigotry and violence for a bit of kudos and a few dollars more.

    There have been and will be many worse performances/results for us, and our team to endure.

    We are covering empty seats with banners saying we are a special club. Really. Do something about it. Today the Kano Foundation had 100 kids from all over the UK and Ireland I believe at the game; the GB had a food-bank drive. Brilliant efforts from the fans it’s time our aloof board stepped up to the plate.

    Perhaps something for a rainy day or international break but might be an interesting read for some of you bhoys due to it being a bit of a timeline and from fans of another club, in a different nation, who are generally neutral outsiders and are perhaps offering cold, unemotional opinions about the some of the whole damn shebang that has been borne from valentines day 2012.
