I’ll be in BV but not at the match

I know it’s hard for supporters to underarm but I enjoy the company more than the football

  3. BT.

In 40 years supporting celtic this is by far the worse I’ve felt going along to games, no atmosphere half empty stadium and watching us play 1 up front against a load of shite!.

A board who has not once defended their club or fans when we have been systematicly attacked by the police, papers and so called TV and radio pundits.

The game is dying before our very eyes and I fear for our beloved club.

When Fergus came along I was up for the fight, bought my shares and felt part of something really special, but now I’m tired of being treated like shite especially by cnuts like bankier!.

My love for celtic will always be there, but the game here is bent!, and you no what I’m too Fucking tired tae fight back.

    Hail Hail always.

You’ve got it bad mate and I sympathise but probably just a wee break will do it. Your scunnerdness ( made up word) is a reflection of your emotional investment. When something we love lets us down its hard to take .. But we go on loving them regardless. Chin up pal!

    Was at the game today.

So not seen any play back thingymes.

But how many of our stone wallers should have been pens?

  6. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Positives today, clean sheet and the food bank collection.

My son and I got the ground about ten to two , at the collection point of the Celtic Way. The first van full of bags, was just leaving and a second van was staring to get filled up.

Delighted to hear about Kieran Tierney and Aiden Nesbitt contributing to the food bank collection.

I would like to see Aiden getting a place on the bench, at least, ahead of Calum McGregor .

Our players looked a yard off the pace today, the Killie players , seemed to be more hard working and sharp than our guys.

When Madden(ing) came off at half time , and was getting booed, he just stared at the west side of the front stand as if to say, i’m getting paid £800 for peeing you lot off.

What a goal by Andreas Iniesta earlier. He is one of the best players we have had the pleasure of seeing,. He is Gordon Strachan’s favourite current player. Gordon had done a podcast with Graham Hunter and said we are so lucky to watch a football genius like Andreas.

    Good Evening CQN

Tough game today. Don’t think we had enough ideas to break down a resilient Killie today. To easy to blame the ref, but at least they are consistent (ly bad and hun like).

15 CQners and friends are off to see Tommy Boyd next Friday at Malones in Glasgow celebrate Cheerio10 with a wee bit of music from the Amadons thrown in. It was to be 16, but work has got in the way (again) for one of the Collective.

So if you want to be our 16th man and join us (We don’t bite much!), then drop me an email at celticrollercoaster@yahoo.co.uk.

The cost of the ticket is £10 and is great value for a fantastic night.

  13. Observations today as follows –

    1 Madden = Hun, don’t come back

    2. 2 holding midfielders and one forward against 10 behind the ball EH?

    3. Why can’t we take a corner ?

    4. Manager continues to make bewildering decisions regarding positions and substitutions.

    5. Why are there so few ball-boys at the ground? Helped Killie no end.

    Thank You

  14. CRC, the company pay my wages, so get to tell me when to work.

Okay, not quite true, I’m the boss, so I tell me where and when to work, but point is, business needs mean I can’t be there.

    Gutted.

I gave Lionroars a Boydy CQN beamy hat, let the mean I sent it for him.

If no-one wants the ticket, I will bare the cost, of course.

  15. BRTH I usually love your postings, but sorry not this time.

Croppybhoy and Sandman saying what I feel.

Seems like we had a few hunterlopers on last night revelling in the mud slinging between some Tims.

I’m forever grateful for the Bunnet and couldnae care less about how much he made. After leaving enough money aside to care for his sister and mother he poured the rest of his bank account intae saving us.

And for those queuing up to bail us out, merr fantasy. Michael McDonald’s stepfather wanted tae put money in but this included a 50% ownership of the club and also chairmanship. Brian Dempsey reneged on his initial offer.

David Low is the mhan with the real story here and no doubt Brendan Sweeney knows it tae.

I grew up couldnae care less about the board although my da had no time for them. Didnae stop him drinking in Kelly’s pub at the Fountain in Alexandria though.

I also recall the supporter with the noose aimed at Bob Kelly and the zombie meeja laughing about the Kelly Kids, especially after a Jock led pars beat us in the SC Final replay.

Were laughing on the other side of their faces 6 years and 29 days later.

Where did that useless board get us? 7-1, an honest NIAR and the Big Cup in my young lifetime.

History has been kind to Sir Bob mainly due to his stance on the Tricolour and Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia, it should also be noted he did NOT want to play in that game in Montevideo that was Jock’s decision. So much for board interference then.

However, his earlier meddling in team affairs left a lot to be desired.

In saying that though his sad passing in 1971 led to a change in the direction of the boardroom and not for the right reasons.

Scottish football was still in good shape then though, although we had peaked as a major European side after the thugs kicked us out of the EC in 1974.

Then the rag and bone man got his greedy fingers on the game and we are where we are now.

On paper it looks like a succession of poor boardroom appointments left us trailing the zombies, however, as history tells us they were thieving left right and centre and I have no doubt that bader wanted tae put us out of the game, for no other reason than we were the only threat to his perceived 4th reich.

Without the wee mhan fae Croy it might have happened and although others may have scraped enough money together we would have been Celtic 1994, nae statues of the Big Mhan with the Big Cup or the planned one of Billy either as that would have been the old club’s history and they would have made sure we knew it.

Since our last game we have had the BTC, the mother country qualifying for Euro 2016, horrific terror attacks in Paris and Mali. Lots to discuss on the site and some very good debates.

Then came our AGM and before it we had the usual suspects on about the absentee landlord and heated driveways.

Thankfully Ian Bankier came on and the thread changed to his quotes. It was like a breath of fresh air as opposed to the usual scheidt we get with just attacks and no solutions. Thanks to the two Ians.

I would rather have the Kaiser and Peter (to give him his Christian name) than a pair of former rugby playing school wannabee fly men running our club.

  16. Doc

It’s quite astonishing how many people can’t see what is from of their eyes.

We basicly play with six forward players, our two supposed holding players are always attacking as well, but it doesn’t suit the agenda that the meja have set.

    Well posted

Don’t know what BRTH was attempting with his post but, personally, it didn’t hit the target.

  18. TET, I know, we had an attacking line of Griff, Forrest, Rogic and Armstrong.

    Not one up front.

It worked well in the first half, we just didn’t make the break through, in the second, ewe lost some momentum, James and Brown being kicked all over the park being a big reason for that.

Not our best display, but not rubbish.

Madden gets a whistle, but he is just a Hun helping other teams get results against us.

  20. I was initially thrilled to find this site which validated and encouraged my support for Celtic, Lately its more of a turn off then anything else. Yes I know the football can be shite at times but if the quality of football was my priority I’d have supported Barca.

When I remember back to the bad old days and now see us on the cusp of 5 in a row , it saddens me to read all this doom & gloom.

Anyhow I have missed a few familiar names like OldTim, ClogherCelt & Tri-Coloured Ribbon over last couple of weeks. Hope they are all well and hope the mood here lifts soon.

    TET, good evening

6 forward players with 20 shots at goal, 5 on target but no goals. Bad day at office or something not right?

Thought Armstrong looked like a little bhoy lost wide left. Missed the cleverness off KC today. Good to have the drive of SB back ( although his hair is getting far too long! :-)

Midfield too slow to get the ball forward at times.

Plenty of high crosses into the box today for our solitary tall striker, LG. Ronnie-can you not see that this does not work?

Highlight of the day was being in the company of leftclicktic and DavieL.

Crazy thing is they stopped watching Celtic because well we aren’t winning in style.

I’ve said it before some Celtic fans are very arrogant and spoiled, they should try being Hamilton, Partick, East Fife fans, they are more faithful

  24. Ajax have played 12 league games won 9 drawn 2 lost 1. Scored 35 goals 6 against. We will have our work cut out on Thursday.

  25. WiTs Oooooooot.

On a serious note, I have backed Ronny from the start.

I said then, and repeated several times, it would be a bumpy road.

Ronny is changing more than tactics.

    Time is needed.

It is not always pretty, but it is fairly often.

The style of play is good, sometimes teams still bully us into changing, Killie did today.

We were not great today, but when you play with most of the team attacking, and the other team just defending with a couple of counter attacks, and that referee, it’s a hard shift.

I have had my doubts at times, in Europe obviously, but this is worth more time.

Other areas around the club need addressing sooner.

    Scouting, security, retail.

    Anyhoos, WiTs oooot:-)

The coach doesn’t miss sitters, the coach doesn’t give the ball away, the coach doesn’t set out to lose ffs, I have said it a thousand times, and I will keep saying it, if our players could turn it on when required, they wouldn’t be playing for Celtic, they can’t, they are limited, they do their best, as does our our coaching staff.

Get rid of RD and get another Pedro puppet in, where the ef does that get us, nowhere fast, get real ffs.
