  1. St Stivs

I donated along with my daughter, at the shamrock just off the Celtic way at about 1.50

2 very pleasant Green brigadiers, took the gifts and thanked us for the support

There was a van sitting just at the front, it was already 3/4 full with donations

sure makes you feel good to be part of the Celtic family.

Was just reading about Kieran Tierney & Aiden Nesbitt both donating a trolley load as well

    Nice :-)

  2. The Buddle

Truthfully, Bitton takes at least two touches to control the ball. In the SPL, he can take two touches before lifting his head up to make a pass. In European fixtures, players are closing him down and his passing stats are way down.

Also in European games, opponents don’t allow Celtic players the chance to travel 30 yards with the ball at their feet as they can do in the SPL. Van Dijk has managed to adjust quickly to being closed down far better than I’d expect.

Bitton as of today doesn’t do it for me. Maybe he will in time.

  3. Quonno,

Desmondo is due to give his christmas message soon, telling us what a great club rangers are.

with a magnificent support and a fantastic history.

    We’ll spotted.

This country lacks class in many areas, not just football.

It’s the old ‘who’s like us’ syndrome BS.

I am reminded of the scene in Cinderella Man when Jimmy Braddock had to go begging for some money to get the electric back on. He went to the cosy club used by the movers and shakers in boxing in NYC.

His begging made some feel guilty and uncomfortable and a few turned their back on him.

I guess it’s all about opinions , I think Bitton has improved, Leigh is playing better (though that’s maybe just because he’s playing), Tierney has been given a chance (and looks the part), I also think Brown has played his best football under RD.

  7. RWE

I was at the unveiling of my big mhate Robert Murphy’s stone at the front of Celtic park today

His stone is just to the right hand side of Big Jock’s statue

Guess who’s stone is right next to it ?

In the words of my big mhate – Nice

  8. I am now on the outside f a couple of beers and a good bottle of Carmenere, good for me say you. I was not at the game today so cannot comment, however I did watch RM v Barca.

I fear we will never even get close to a poor RM team, the Barca performance was sublime in planning and execution.

Spotting the opposition weak spots and adjusting their game plan. The inclusion of Roberts as an additional midfield player totally threw RM and the result was never in doubt.

I listened to Gerry Armstrong on Sky and wonder how he still gets the gig, his pro Madrid bias is on the BFDJ Hun scale. At least we all know Derek is clueless and a good comedy turn.

I hope the food bank collection went well, in fact I do not need to worry our support always step up to the plate.

Anyway , Juve game starting soon, the good lady is on Strictly duty, I am on the I pad with the football.

  9. That was utter pants today. It would get football stopped. Thankfully I was back in time to the pub to watch the fantastic Iniesta turn in one of the greatest midield performances ever seen.

  10. Brogan Rogan Trevino and Hogan supports Oscar Knox, MacKenzie Furniss and anyone else who fights Neuroblastoma on

Frustrating game today, but as always thanks to Malorbhoy for his company and hospitality.

Cowiebhoy, I didn’t see yer man bit will get you that address for the clothes ASAP.

Got to CQN corner for all of about 3 mins but a good 3 mins at that.

    Narrowly missed JamesGang apparently.

God is good in small ways lol

    Football Blog Awards

The Uk Football Blogging Awards were held in Manchester on Thursday evening. There were three finalists who write about Scottish Football, with an emphasis on Rangers, namely The Clumpany, Phil Mac Giolla Bhain and Gersnet. There was one with a focus on CFC, namely Kerrydale Street.

Phil Mac Giolla Bhain was a finalist in an established blogs category. He regularly has one million views of his posts every month. In the past two years he has had just short of twenty-seven million views. He is no stranger to controversy. As was the case at the final. Gersnet refused to be seen in the same room as Phil Mac, withdrew their nomination and inveighed against his inclusion in the short lists.

  12. TBJ SAYS WEE OSCAR KNOX IS IN HEAVEN WITH THE ANGELS on 21ST NOVEMBER 2015 6:50 PM

Kilkie play 10 men behind the ball

Madden refuses 3 good pens and probably as important – doesn’t red card mcguiness

    Still 6 points clear

  13. a light insanity on

The AGM was a turning point for me. Gritted my teeth for so long but enough. I have always felt like the underclass with Celtic boards but the comments from Bankier just soured Celtic to me. I can’t stop supporting them but money from me outside the actual games nah.

  15. 50 shades of green on

I dont give that youngest bhoy of mine enough credit sometime, but about 5 mins into the second half when I was still full of optimisation, he turned to me and said , Dad this is just the same as the Hearts game.

Turns out the wee pwick was on the money.

Not had a gander back and wont be .So don’t know what has been said about today on here, but why o f’n why did we switch Forrest to the left.?

  16. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

Today’s performance was very poor,we’ve all

    seen these type’s in season’s past,they happen,

but we could have done with a good victory after

    yesterdays shambolic AGM.

I would like to echo the praise being heaped on

those young subversive upstarts of the GB,you

get Celtic more than our board will ever do.

  17. What did we learn from today’s game. Jozo is a decent looking CH. JF can still turn it on. RDs tactical changes by moving JF to the right-wing made us less effective. And sadly playing 2 up front with Ciftci made no difference. Btw is there always that number of empty seats in the directors box.

  18. Madden is a sleekit, and his intentions were clear from early doors, but 4 points dropped to a ?-“s poor killie team :((((.

    CRC thank you again

  19. If the last thirty six hours on CQN mirrors the feelings of even a quarter of Celtic fans, the club is in big trouble.

At a time when we should be revelling in the misfortunes of others, sections of the support, with some justification are at the Board’s collective throat.

Some like myself have in the past lamented Bankier’s anonymity. Yesterday will have shown that we should have been thankful for small mercies.

It’s been said before CQN isn’t even 1% of the Celtic support

  22. Madden has learned from the best/worsest…..the big kahuna that bastard Dallas

I’m hoping there’s a wee ebt with his name on it.

  23. To be clear having read all kinds of nonesence here and in the press.

Bankier did not make any kind of racist comments.

    He said

That some comments on social media were bordering on being racist. Referring to comments made re mr livingstons jewish faith i believe.

    Nuff said
