  1. My fingers are freezing.

Scott Allan looked lively when he got on. James Forrest ran all afternoon.

    Bobby Madden, Killie MOM.

  2. My only beef is that the Scott Allan substitution was way too late to influence the game. We needed someone to play an incisive killer pass, he may not have done it but it is his forte, and in my opinion, he should have been the first sub on.

Apart from that it was a game we’ve all seen before and we’ll all see again. There was no damage done, we just move on.

    Gerrybhoy,

Naw, that’s exactly the point, even Jock knew they could make a difference, putting more in the net never always worked for him either.

I completely and utterly disagree. We were really poor today and seemed to have no plan B, much less a plan A. When SA came on, at the death, we finally saw a player who wanted to hit thru passes. He should have been on MUCH earlier. Sand dancers don’t do it for me. BJ made his famous comment on how to get past MIB “decisions”. He did it. Now we don’t.

    Agree wholeheartedly.

Serious questions need to be asked of coaching staff.

Indeed. Count me in on that!

  5. I’ve got some Kleenex tissues if some of you bhoys want some. Really some of you need to get a grip, we have no divine right to win any game. I’m just amazed at some peoples arrogance on here at times. Pitiful!!!!

  6. Gerrybhoy,

I expect us to get beat when we are really poor and today we were never getting beat, so no really poor.

The Griff was pulled back as he was about to pull the trigger, should have been a penalty.

Broonie was assaulted twice only one yellow.

GMS clipped in the box, penalty, nothing there were enough game changing decisions that went the wrong way so it petered out and most will forget them and blame the team like you are.

  7. Joe Filippis Haircut on

We are 6 points clear at the top of the league we are in the Semi final of the league cup and we are still in the Scottish cup.The manager and the coaching staff won two trophies last season and some of you Bhoys are not happy ah well of course we must win every game what nonsense. We did not play badly today we just didnt finish its football and that happens we move on to Thursdays big game and surprise surprise we may not win it either. H.H.

We have drawn these type of games every season since football began, yet you still have some fans surprised every time it happens. Arrogant and stupid :O)

  9. mike in toronto on

snecker …. I’m not saying we should win every game …I’m not complaining about the score …. if we played well and drew, I could live with that …. I am questioning the apparent lack of preparation and effort ….. I am questioning why we make the same mistakes over and over …

next week, Ajax will have scouted us, saw that all of our play came through JF, and will set up to stop JF … that is what coaches do … they scout teams, and set their own team to maximize its strengths, and take advantage of the opponent’s weakenesses … Killie coaches did that today …. on today’s showing, what had RD, JK and/or JC done to set us up to win against Killie?

  10. I have never been the glass half empty type But……..I can no longer accept the dross that is being served up. The play is boring and unadventurous. Side to side and backwards. When it does go forward our sole striker is out wide, we lose to (not even) third rate European teams 6th in the Norwegian league FFS, We lose an inordinate amount of goals from set pieces and are lucky that there is no Rangers team (Cheating or otherwise) in the same league. Aspirations to play in England…who’s kidding who.

  11. It’s amazing the amount of money Real spend (and they are an excellent team) yet Barca are on another level when he comes to passing and keeping the ball.

Am absolutely not blaming the team but we do have a coaching staff who are supposed to manage the game on the pitch. No? GMS fell over his own feet btw. Saw a couple of replays on Celtic TV

having trouble with blog …. will check back in later …. those of you lucky enough to be able to watch el classico … enjoy!

  14. Our reliance on Griffiths is worrying. One striker worthy of the name at a club our size is embarrassing.

Where is our October panic buy? Today was the type of day that we could have done with a battering ram like Cole up front, even for the last half hour. Not even on the bench, yet he’s fit enough to go through a warm down routine post match.

Back four and Forrest played well, the rest were dire, especially Bitton who moved around like an asthmtic snail.

  15. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

Back home to warm house, bloody frozen,no

    real tempo,no creativity,I can’t recall a keeper

having a easier day than the Killie one had this

afternoon, for my seat none of our penalty claims

looked stonewallers, the tackle on Broonie in the first

half was a straight red,the madhun seemed to take

his time,I thought he was going to send off the thug,

in any other league in the world it’s a red all day long.

    Away to defrost.

  16. mike in toronto on 21st November 2015 5:34 pm BBC reporting that Brechin City keeper showed up for game …. at the wrong stadium! Ha!

*former zombie, must have been looking for Livi.

  17. Stuart Cosgrove stating that 0-0 is the worst possible result Celtic could have had today!

No mention of The Championshit so far…

  18. Just back from a very cold and subdued CP.

We had enough attacking possession to win 3 games. We dominated Killie and there was no coaching masterclass preventing us from winning. They defended well but they were forced to- only when we were into all out desperate mode at the end, did they find chances to trouble Gordon. Killie players played well today- O’Hara, Connelly and wee Scott Robinson screening the back 4.

We had Armstrong off form but every one else played a fairly average game- not dreadful. Rogic was ambitious and it did not always come off but he did try. Forrest played very well and Simunovic was decent too. Jamie McDonald made two great saves from Griffiths and Brown.

We huffed and puffed and came up short but spare me the old “out-coached” guff. This was desperate defending by committed and brave Killie defenders, aided by a bit of luck and a ref that let a lot go. Madden had an influence but none of our pen. claims looked like 100%ers to me. Madden was poor but not the main cause of our dropped points- that was down to the players- theirs and ours.

Funnily enough, I feel more confident about Ajax than I may have if we had beat Killie by 5 today. It will be tough but I think we can scrape a win on Thursday- still think we will fall short of qualification but Ajax at CP is a tall order but not as frightening as it once was.

Happy to see we lost no ground to Hearts- even though it knocks me out of Last Man Standing- a small price to pay. Good luck to those left in contention.

Finally, well done to the GB on the Food Bank Collection- just disappointed that I was not asked to sign any petitions. I was in a petition signing mood :-)

  19. weebobbycollins on

I’m still freezing…unfortunately, players didn’t really warm us up…shame! Really disappointed with some of the players today. The Dundee Utd bhoys have not been what we hoped for. Armstrong is never a winger, it’s a waste of a potentially good player. Please Ronny, don’t make the same mistake with Scott Allen, he does look very promising. Still screaming out for a striker to help Griff…I once thought Ciftci could be the man but I’m fast losing faith in him…as far as Bobby Madden is concerned, he is totally incompetent, like most of our referees in Scotland, not corrupt, just useless…finished my rant but still a fan….btw, Mark Burchill doing a decent job at Livi, keeping an eye on him.

  20. CultsBhoy can not relate to Celtic Board ambitions on or off the park on

Aye Peter – Ronnie is definitely the guy. Ajax and Fenerbache must be absolutely bricking it…?

Please Peter , Bankier, Lord Livingstone , Ronny and Johnny just go away and goes us all peace

  21. Havanalaugh

    You are right.

We are lucky that there is no Rangers in our league.

    And there never will be.

Whatever Mark 2 or Mark 3 outfit makes it in to the Premiership, will not be a threat to our title and will not make us play better. Only our Old Firm fans miss them.

  22. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

Forrest was MOtM today……..pity his relocation whrn GMS entered the fray stunted his contribution.

That was so apparent to everyone except our coaches.

  23. Jamie MacDonald admitting on radio that he thought the tackle on Broonie was a penalty. Well done on your honesty Jamie.

  24. Not got a clue what the Spanish commentator is saying on my stream but he is so exciting and knackering to listen too!

  25. Just back fromthe game

    Couple of thoughts

in form goalscorer should never take corner kicks.

Players who take corners should be able to place a ball ANYWHERE required in the box

BTW John Kennedy – teach CB’s how to not be bullied – our centre backs hardly win a header from kick outs and free kicks

  26. Disappointed? Yes.

    Downhearted? No.

    Concerned? Yes.

    But not about today’s result.

Worried about what our MF will look like if Scott doesn’t make Thursday or can only muster an abbreviated appearance.

    No Bitton or Johansen either.

That would leave us a wee teeny bit short of experience.

A few guys would have to step up big time, particularly Armstrong and GMS.

    Efe in a midfield role?

Allan thrown in at the deep end?

    Prospects aren’t exactly attractive.

  27. Collect ball & move to centre-circle area – pass sideways – recycle ball.

    – repeat

Cross a ball that our forward (singular) can’t get to.

Collect ball & move to centre-circle area – pass sideways – recycle ball.

    repeat

Win a corner/free-kick – cross a ball that our players can’t get to.

Collect ball & move to centre-circle area – pass sideways – recycle ball.

    repeat

Shoot wildly from outside box – ball ends up in Row Z.

Collect ball & move to centre-circle area – pass sideways – recycle ball.

    repeat

Same old song – final use of ball in last 1/3 woeful.

No Plan B and any opposition coach that comes up with a disciplined game plan (and can get his players to stick to it) – can and will get results against RD.

    Progression? …………… what progression?

  28. Frustrating day but respect to McDonald and Connolly. They did their job well.

    Madden was typical.

    Hope Scott Brown is OK.

  29. Sensational from Barca! Almost scored the best goal I’ve ever seen on the stroke of half time. Neymar and Iniesta both wonderful footballers.
