Thought Scott Brown had been running like a20 year old all this week. Did he just pull up, or was it a tackle?

Credit to Killie, they defended extremely well. We dominated but it was one of those days, they happen to every team and will happen to us again. No need for panic or abuse just suck it up and move on.

Should have been playing 9 men in the first half, higginbottam and yon big striker should have been off

The Malmö coach called it right, all you have to do against this CLPC squad is run.
Feeble and clueless.

I’ve seen this game before many times over the years, all possession and no penetration against 9 in the box. Only one from the midfield and forwards worth his shirt was Forrest.
It was all far too slow.
Armstrong, GMS and Rogic were very poor.
Scott Allan looked like he likes moving the ball quickly which is something we need. He’ll be needed on Thursday.

Dreadful. No killing pass; apart from SA who was introduced as the fat lady was clearing her throat. Why so late? We have absolutely no penetration. Playing Lennoxtown square dancing in front of fitba meisters like Killie shows no positive ideas. We should be wiping the floor with teams like them. That underlines our lack of success in Europe. Not at all confident in our next 2 EL outings but let’s hope for the best.
A bit of luck and would have been a much different day.
On the bright side, Hearts draw, Huns draw and Hibs win.

I still dont see a Celtic player in any of the players we got from Dundee Utd. I thought we missed Commons and his guile this afternoon. The good thing is none of the chasers made up any ground on us I am concerned that Brown looks in trouble and could be doubtful for Thursday and we are already without Bitton and Joe Hanson.Killie parked the bus and we couldnt unlock them and will be happy to go home with a point. H.H.

That is not the point at all. Remember what Big Jock said. We should have been skating it against “opposition” like that.

Broonie came out worst in a 50/50 tackle at the end, and struggled to finish the game.
Allan should have replaced Armstrong earlier.
Frustrating afternoon, when neither team created clear cut chances.
When Commons is absent, sometimes you wonder where the spark will come from, the spark that creates a goal from nothing and changes the game.
Hope we can field a strong team to face Ajax – the suspensions and injuries are mounting up.
Oh, nearly forgot, Madden – he will now doubt be sharing a pint with Elbows in some Killie howf tonight.

Can someone explain something to me ?
Clearly, the Killi coaching staff had a plan. The Killie players knew the plan, knew how to execute it, and did execute it.
We all knew that Killie would come to defend, and would have practiced all week how to keep us out.
What was Celtic’s plan today? WE had two weeks to figure out how to break down the Killie defence. What was our plan, as, it simply wasn’t discernible to me?
Looks like, once again, RD was simply outcoached by a poor SPL coach.
AS for the players, JF was good today … rest were poor at best …

We need to give it our all against the Dutch no matter the eleven are on the park we have nothing to lose as we are as good as out of the competition at the moment.I just hope Ronny is brave and we have a real go. H.H.

I struggle to see what the coach is trying to implement.
This was an exact replica of the game against Hearts so we are not learning.
Ciftci may be a dud but i can’t judge as our service to forwards is truly awful.
The posture of our players when receiving a pass is always the same. Control ball, delay and then pass backwards or sideways. It has to be a coaching directive it’s so consistent.
A multitude of sideways and backwards passes culminating in a hopeful cross or spoor long range shot.
I have been fairly non commital on coach but 18 months on he has given no reason for optimism.
