Two very wrong decisions at that penalty.
First. If the referee deems that a foul and therefore a penalty it has to be a red card.
Second. It should have been offside before the foul was committed. The ricochet off the Rangers player makes the other rangers player offside – not the one who got fouled of course.
Also. I’ve said Gerrard is a LUCKY manager. That penalty incident is a demonstration of that.
Hard to believe Aberdeen gave a far superior opponent a run for their money in midweek.
Sheep need a miracle here, they are getting run ragged, to big a gap between defence and mid and mid to front, not pressing, to slow.
