Win was needed – we got it. No comment whatsoever on initial team selection, or, overall performance. Motherwell dire!

2nd half was a clear illustration of the madness that was the ‘no-striker’ team selection.
Impressed by Ajeti’s touch – looks as if he’s a bit to do in terms of fitness, but looks to have a sharp mind. Upset for Polish Paddy, but he made the big difference in terms of team shape – not just having a striker on the park, but also allowing the midfielders to play their natural game.
What a difference a proper striker makes, second half the game was stretched and they had no answer, I honestly don’t know why we didn’t start that way, not a complaint, just an observation that some who should be seeing don’t seem to be.
Three points towards the ten, happy Tim

Until JF(2) came on and forced one on us.
Compare and contrast !?!
JF(1) played in the left back’s pocket for 60 minutes.
JF(2) came on and ran him ragged to the point his mother complained to his manager he was not getting enough support.
M/well are well set up but have little real talent / class.
We are the exact opposite.
The MF needs real work.

However the 3rd goal raised a cheer that worried next door’s cat.
What a ball from Ajeti to Frimpong there to allow him space to set up Julien….perfectly paced and placed 👍👍
