  1. Hunderbirds are Gone on

Mark McGhee has one half time team talk left to save his Celtic dream.

    Pffffffffft :))))))

Highlight of the half for me was when the cameras panned on to the Motherwell bench to see the scowl on Craigan’s greetin face.

  4. Great show, best passing and movement all season, could easily be 7 up.

  5. I see Stuart Armstrong coming in for some praise on here, what a surprise! The lad is a footballer, plays with his head up and is always available. He is played out of position and just gets on with doing his best out there.

A modern day footballer perhaps? No out and out special skills but very competent across a range of attributes, he will make a a lot of money out of the game today as coaches will see a lot more positives than negatives.

Oh and he had lovely hair as well…. YoureworthitCSC

  6. Terrific half. There’ll be enough deflecting coming up about ‘at the beaches; etc but that’s a lovely spectacle and this bhoy is happy.

Anyone else spot the narrative during the first half about our ‘disappointing’ campaign within several minutes of mentioning a potential 15 point gap at the top. The deliberate negativity and playing down of our successes is never ending.

Looking forward to the 2nd half…

Not a single weakness in the team. Even Efe having a really solid game. (Hope I don’t regret saying that)-:))

C’mon the hoops, give us ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️.

    ………………….::

    They’re trying their best!

  9. The football first half was pure magic. Celtic should be at least 6 up.

Who is that new guy Armstrong, young Lustig a revelation. Christie will be a great player.

I am a total mixture of emotions, at times I was almost greetin watching the quality of the movement & passing and almost screaming with frustration why the eff couldn’t they play like that during the season.

I think we all felt the football was in the team but game after game it just didn’t happen, better late then never but why oh why couldn’t we have played like that earlier in season.

  10. Joe Filippis Haircut on

CORKCELT. If we had played like this all season Ronny would still have a job. H.H.

  11. At this rate it could finish 9-0.

    “He’s fat, he’s round,

    he’s worth a coupla pound.

    Mark McGhee, Mark McGhee!”

    Apologies to KEVJ.

    HH!!

  12. glendalystonsils on

That is the traditional Celtic way to start a game, hit the opposition like a thunderbolt.

Why have we started so many games this season with a whimper rather than a bang?

  13. A lone striker is not a negative formation if the supporting cast knows when and how to support him.

Rogic. Armstrong . Paddy and McGregor have all done so today

    When 4-5-1 became 4-1-5 Cfc

  14. I maybes shouldn’t say this, but it looks like to me anyways, that quite a few of the players weren’t playing for Ronny early doors.

This is what we were expecting, this is what we are getting, tells me a story.

  15. GivehimthemoneyPeterCSC on

Great display against a Motherwell team that look like they are on the holiday bus already

    Whats the story with CkR?

Good display for ronnie -well done bhoys!

  16. macjay1 for Neil Lennon on

    Spot on

Does my head in with this “play 2 up front” nonsense. Straight out of the 90’s coaching manual

  18. Na na na na na na na Kieran Tier ney

Na na na na na na na Kieran Tier ney…

    Go on the Hhhooooppppssss

  19. Great stuff in the sun. Is there a connection between weather and performances?

    Who cares. Just enjoy.

  20. That thought struck me too TET, any new prospective Manager watching that will be licking their lips.
