Just because Mark Hateley says a title is tainted doesn’t mean it is or isn’t. When Celtic won the league in 1988, it wasn’t a tainted title, it was also significant given it was the centenary season, but it didn’t hold back the tide.
This title we win this season, lets face it, is not the big story, the big story is Rangers either facing decades of financial pain, or they trade that in for their trophies, their history and their self respect. That doesn’t make this seasons title tainted or not tainted it is just in the bigger scheme of things it is not the big scottish football news story.

Fraser Foster 7 – Spectator. Could have took a seat in the stands, hardest thing he had to do all day was avoiding all the balloons on the park and I dont mean of the motherwell player variety.
Adam Matthews 7 – Cool. This lad could don a Fonzi jacket while playing he makes it look so easy.
Kelvin Wilson 7 – Outstanding. Finally showing us all why Lenny rates him so highly. Cut off every motherwell attack that came his way.
Thomas Rogne 8 – Collossus(motm). Going from strength to strength. Won everything in the air, composed on the deck, distrubtion excellent, thoroughly deserved motm.
Charlie Mulgrew 7 – Messiesque. If Messi was a defender, his name would be Charlie Mulgrew!
James Forrest 5 – Quiet. Drifted in and out of the game, needs to be careful to hold onto his starting position as others wait for the chance to impress.
Ki Sung Yueng 6 – Schizophrenic. When he is in the mood, he is excellent, when he loses concentration he isnt. Had one of those games today.
Joe Ledley 7 – Faultless. Superjoe does his job, he does it well. Every football team should have a Joe Ledley, but they don’t, we do, so giruy!
Victor Wanyama 6 – Solid. Not his best game, not his worst either. Sacrificed in a tactical change that immediatley proved decisive. Took one for the team.
Gary Hooper 6 – Clinical. Was having a mare up until his symbiotic half twin Stokes game on, within 30 seconds, BANG! he wins the game.
Georgious Samaras 7 – Enigmatic. Just when you wanted him subbed, he goes and does that thing and shows us all we know nothing.

OHHH and I hope GM sucks @saverankers is looking after our money and there is no skullduggery :))))))).
winning is all that matters right now and when we win the league its on merit, no excuses please.
If we can keep our young players together for the next 2/3/4 years, we’ll have one hell of a team.
i do fear we will lose them all at some point but not before they give us some very happy times and leave us with the transfer money to replace them with the next generation of youngester.
think we’ll need to use any money saved on wages this summer i.e. loovens, o’dea, thompson, dan, wilson, cha any any possible sale of mcginn, mccourt, jaurez, murphy, radmussion etc… to tie them into longer/ better contracts.

Clyde rebuffing any suggestion from callers that Super Ally should go.
After Celtic’s 1-0 victory at home to Motherwell, their full domestic record since NL took charge now reads:
Played 91
Won 74
Drawn 8
Lost 9
Scored 207
Conceded 56
Clean sheets 53
Failed to score 7
NL’s team has won 81.3% of it’s games and lost just 1 in every 10.1.
It has kept a clean sheet in 58.2% of it’s games whilst scoring in 92.3% of them, averaging 2.27 goals scored and 0.62 conceded per game.
Today’s was Celtic’s 20th consecutive victory in domestic competitions and their 6th consecutive clean sheet. The only SPL teams to have scored home or away against Celtic since the 23rd November are Dundee United (14th January) and Kilmarnock (24th December) with one goal apiece.
Incidentally, Celtic face both these sides in the next few weeks in each of the cup competitions, as they strive for an historic treble.
Celtic now lead the SPL by a record margin of 23 points over crisis club Rangers… an astonishing 38 point swing since the 5th November. Even without the 10 point penalty Rangers would still trail Celtic by some 13 points.
Celtic’s next match isagainst Aberdeen at Pittodrie next weekend, and if Aberdeen fail to score in the first 75 minutes of the game it will be 1,000 minutes of game time since any Scottish team scored on their own pitch against Celtic.
Keep on keeping on!
