    Tevez and Mascherano. West Ham United.

     

     

    West Ham were fined £5.5 Million because it transpired the two players contracts were owned by a company and not the club. In breach of Premiership rules.

     

     

    McGregor, Naismith, Whitaker and that big streak of piss that got pumped to Switzerland from RangersinLiquidation. How much did the huns get in transfer fees? Nada? Zilch? Now if the company was liquidated, it isn’t allowed to own player contracts. It is the club which owns them.

     

    Why if Sevco is the same club don’t they get fees for these transfer of registrations? Unless of course their contracts were with the company that died. But companies can’t own registrations. Ask West Ham.

     

    Does that mean Sevco is a new club? Surely not!!! I mean the MSM tell us it is the same! Even their new owner Challls Green knew this. He was obviously tired and emotional when he also bought the history as clearly he didn’t need to do this.

    Just reading back and so kojo complaining about lack of goals from corners. In the calendar year for 2013 we scored 15 goals in 46 games from corners. Seems a reasonable return to me.

     

     

    Anyone got any stats on how other teams fair in this department.

     

     

    BTW, I’m not collecting stats in 2014. I think the case for zonal marking has been well proven and I no longer require stats to back this up.

    Those defending whatshisname Tony Anton or Anthony Stokes are talking absolutely pish if they didn’t think it was a sending off.

     

    He knew his number was up when he saw Pukki was stripped and ready to come on,a deliberate act of petulance manifested itself in a two footed tackle on Lasley which he well knew was going to result in his dismissal.

     

    Mr Stokes knew his level when he was a loan player at either Falkirk Sheffield United and Crystal Palace

    This season, we have been poor from corners, IMO, but that is due to the transitions.

     

     

    WGS was the one who said that most goals in the CL are scored from setplays, Neil took this onboard and he is building, IMO, a heck of a team for next seasons CL. We must keep all our best players this Summer though.

    It was a yellow all day long in the context of the refereeing on show today.

     

     

    In an honest set up, a red all day long.

     

     

    Fisher got booked for a challenge in which he got thew ball, fair enough, he took the player as well, a few mins later, a much worse tackle from one of them , where the player never got the ball resulted in nada.

     

     

    The refereeing today was up to the usual standard for scotland, our player goes up for the ball, a foul to them, their player goes up for the ball, a foul to them.

    Exiled. Could not see his stats ? I am for any goal scorer coming in, as long as he is a goal scorer :))))

     

     

    We seem to have signed too many players over last 4 years who were not goalscorers and stayed non goalscorers

    He has 16 goals in 20 games this season for Sporting, in a better league than we are in imo.

     

     

    Last season on loan to the club we got Efe from, 6 goals in 13 games, and the season before, 7 goals in 14 games for Partizan, that is a goal scorer imo, and he is still a kid.

    Thought Stokes played pretty well today. Comes to look for links. Good. But this then leaves us with no one in the natural striking position. So someone else has to make the run into the box.

    And yet some posters find reasons to be unhappy and downright churlish.

     

    These are days to rejoice.

     

    They may not last forever.

     

    Nothing is perfect and we will never be perfect.

     

    Poor decisions will be made in team choices, tactics and transfers.

     

    However, the overall, overriding results are good on and off the park.

     

    There are signs that the team is playing with confidence and composure.

     

    The development and youth squads are producing players of genuine quality.

     

    The manager has stated that we are pursuing strikers with an eye on the CL qualifiers.

     

    The future is bright. Our city is green and white.

    I know I shouldn`t,but I agree.

     

    Always think of Barry Robson in these situations.Every team needs an enforcer,a protector.What used to be called ,in the days before political correctness,a hatchet man.

     

    I was sorry when Barry left.

     

    I felt that was an additional role he could have filled.

    There is a player in Pukki, just no as a striker, I honestly reckon he was bought to do the Kris Commons role,and I think he will grow into that role in time.

     

     

    It all depends on what side of the fence you are on re the transfer policy, some believe that Lenny is the man who decides who is in and out, others like me believe that JP and PL have the final say, at the end of the day it really matters not, we have what we have,and the manager has to do the best he can with the players at his disposal, and imo, he is doing a superb job,all things considered.

     

     

    he will never please us all, he will please some this week, others next week, we are still winning, top of the league undefeated, that has to be a positive, even for you that has to be a plus.

     

     

    I still have my doubts we will sign a proven striker this window, all the talk of warchests and the like, all pish, we may well sign one who is out of contract in the summer, but no way will PL sanction a spend of anything like 5 mill on someone this window, I hope I am wrong, but we will see.
