One of our players are going to get badly injured .
I watched Broony today never stopped talking and instructing all around him, though I thought Beaton was going to send him of for stoating the mwell player with the ball.
Did anybody notice Griff storming down the tunnel in a fit of pique at the final whistle? Me and the Bhoy were in the South stand and both saw it. He shook Mark McGhee’s hand and then ripped off his wristbands before shooting down the tunnel whilst the rest of the team stayed on the pitch with BR to salute the fans. Hopefully he was just desperate for a Grey Friar’s

Open Meeting to discuss away ticket scheme
Published on Saturday 15th October, 2016 by Celtic Trust
Open Meeting set for Monday 24th October
Following extensive online discussion and reported meetings between Celtic and some supporters’ groups, there is considerable disquiet among the regular away support and other supporters about alleged proposals to ‘cancel’ away histories and introduce a new scheme for allocating away tickets.
The Celtic Trust have convened a number of Open Meetings in the past which have brought a large section of the fan base together to deal with a particular issue. We have been asked by our comrades in another organisation to convene an Open Meeting to discuss this current issue and we are happy to do that. It is our view that online discussion is great but to resolve issues it is important to come to meetings and have an open debate.
A date and time have been fixed – Monday 24th October at 7pm – and a venue is currently being organised and will be confirmed soon.
Everyone is welcome to the meeting which will be chaired by a Trust representative. Any actions arising from the meeting will be taken forward by the Trust as has been the practice in the past.
We look forward to seeing you all there. Hail Hail

Good win against 12 men today.
11 of them were behind the ball most of the game and the 12th – well, it’s Scotland, innit. A disgrace.
I can’t get my head around the player that is James Forrest these days. I thought he was magnificent today.
JF always had it in him to be a great IMO, but he was too patchy, too in and out and too much sitting on the turf with his arms aloft when things didn’t work, in recent seasons.
This term – what a difference. He has become the complete player – a terror to defenders, seeing the pass, taking a shot, dragging defenders away to allow others in, and tracking back, working his baws off to help in defence.
It’s wonderful to see a player with so much potential starting to fulfil it. JF used to have one good game and 4 or 5, or 6 or 7, indifferent ones. He has become consistent and it is a joy to see.
Simunovic – I don’t think I have ever been happier that a transfer fell through. I think he’s absolute quality. Love Sviatchenko as well, but Jozo is pure class.
Tierney – the movement, the footwork, the poise when he rattled the ball off the crossbar. I know it was against Motherwell, not Spain, but my God, this is a 19-year-old playing like Maradona. And he’s a left back!
I think, with Brendan, we could really be going places.
Happy in Oslo. Very, very happy in Oslo.

Pleased with our result and a clean sheet also.
First time I remember one of our players getting a standing ovation for not scoring but so well deserved for our Kieran. Kieran is our future and I hope he’s an inpiration to other young players we have.
Its time someone took that wee runt Lasley out. As previous posters have pointed out no wonder our game is a mess when ‘good honest pros ‘ like him play.
A few years ago Stokesy went through him and Lasley collapsed in a heep. Stokesy got a red and the runt Lasley bounced up as soon as the card was produced.
Moult should have walked as he booted the ball away about five minutes before he clattered Liam.
Liam played well today and I was delighted he got a start.
Onwards to Wednesday.

Right folks if you haven’t yet completed the online survey to repeal the OBaF Act now is the time. Please, please don’t underestimate the importance of making the time to complete the survey. Time is now short so if you don’t have the time then follow these guidelines.
If long forms daunt you, just give your contact details and then complete the 5 questions on Sections 1-5 showing you are in favour of repeal- that is just 5 ticks- then just scroll through to the end and press SUBMIT. It can be done in less than a minute.
I’m pretty confident that I have NEVER seen such a standing ovation for a NON goal as I saw and participated in today when Kieran Tierney bewildered the Motherwell defence and smack a shot of the ball.

Rumour is that secret meetings have taken place and that changes will be made to the current method of distributing tickets for away games.
Currently, the more away games you’ve been to the better chance you have of being allocated a ticket for future away games. There is talk that this will change and that, possibly, every away game will be an open ballot.
I’ve given Celtic my views. If it happens, I’ll never be back.

So I’ve praised Tierney and Forrest so far.
Now for more praise.
Scott Sinclair. His understanding with Kieran, his awareness and appreciation of the importance of movement off the ball is a cut above the rest of the players. He creates space even against a packed defence.
And the there is Dembele. Keeping Griff out of the starting lineup requires extraordinary talent. And he has it. Plus he puts in the effort for the team. Today is the first time I’ve realised how much pace he has. Woof. Unlucky to hit the upright but won the penalty and had the fortitude to put it to the other side than normal.
Griff, no doubt your time will come round again. For the moment, just be ready.

At an incredibly young age KT is the best left back I’ve ever seen playing for Celtic. His vision, ability, passion, energy, desire to win his individual battle and accuracy when picking out a fellow player with cutbacks is just fantastic.
