Norwood is decent, seen him a couple of times this season. Tidy but unspectacular, not the attacking midfielder we need, more likely a replacement for Ledley or Kayal. Armstrong would be a better signing, more attacking, more versatile.

I contend that some of the most strident critics of Celtic on this site are acting to suit their own agenda and not necessarily for the betterment of Celtic. There are many things Celtic could be doing better, but things are not as desperate as the Media and some on here would have us believe.
Callum McGregor is performing very well in a poor team ….why not give him a run ?

We have just had a shambolic Summer 2013 transfer window.
We would rather double up on our CEO’s salary than pay the living wage.
We have been put out of Europe after a series of poor team selections and poor performances.
We have a series of projects, time wasters and non entities trying out for “Centre Forward Imposter of the Week”.
We have a “Shadow” midfield wasting away in the stand every week.
We have more unfit, poorly conditioned players waiting for their next muscle strain.
Oh yes but no worries the TFOD2 tribute act are always worth a chuckle.

The best post of the night. I support Celtic, not the manager, not the CE, not the board and not the Owner. I support the Team on the park. Unlike some of the neg posters on here who seem to think they can operate the Club better than our present custodians. Personally, I would not allow any of them to run a sweetie shop, especially if I owned it. I will continue to support my Team as long as I am able to, getting close to the ole 70 now. This is a customer driven business, I am a customer, I will renew my ST this year because I love watching my Team. My team is Celtic, and I do not give a sh@t what anyone else thinks. Bad times???? This present mob of, supposed, supporters don’t know their living.
Bottom line, it’s your money, if you don’t want to spend it on Celtic, DON’T. Simples. Please do not come on this blessed site and try to convince other supporters not to. This will probably be my last post for a while. Sickened with most of the nonsense on here most days.

As I said he is a decent player but I assume he is a replacement for one of our current middle men as he isn’t the attacking midfielder that most think we need. Either Ledley is away (hope not) or that Kayal’s time is up in the summer when (if?) he gets fit.

I believe NFL has final say on all signings, that’s how I believe our club operates
Now identifying and presenting to NFL may be different, but again
I believe NFL sets the criteria for what he wants, area to play, type of player etc
Then up to NFL

Mine is quite clear. That Celtic be FC not PLC.
My feeling is that most of the so-called negative posts on here are from people who feel the same way.
I think it is difficult to argue that a significant number of Celtic supporters are thoroughly disenchanted with those running the club,and how they choose to do so. Were that not so,the ground would be full,the waiting list would still exist,and everyone who was at the game would be on here crowing about the experience.
As it is,the ground is half-full,and around half of them come away beelin’ after it.
They are Celtic through and through. But they are not happy. And their dissatisfaction is not being adequately addressed.

He ticks the boxes, has the potential to be sold for a few bob profit, and is half decent.
I agree he is not what we NEED, but they will cost more than I reckon we are prepared to invest.

I think we have some posters who come on to disrupt this blog and cause disharmony amongst Celtic supporters.
I also believe we have a number of posters who enjoy causing “trouble” with made up stories and claims of the underhand dealings going on at boardroom level at Celtic Park.
Some people would rather jump right in to every situation demanding immediate action from Celtic and expressing disgust when the club do not react in the manner they demand.
Some people are just argumentative and will adopt a position contrary to everyone else just for the hell of it.
And finally some are like me who see Celtic as a means to enliven the daily slog and drudgery of life, not a cause of the drudgery.

Not a shred of proof is offered on the conspiracy theory that the manager is undermined by signings he didn’t want.
Given the myriad of players,agents,ex-players,ex-managers, scouts involved I would have thought a snippit would have leaked out to support the theory .If true, its a cracking anti-Celtic story, one the SMSM would be salivating over.
Given the lack of evidence you have to go with the probability that its probably a myth .

Agree that Kayal’s days are probably numbered. His injury will prevent him moving on this window but it makes sense to bring his replacement in now. Think Rogic may go out on loan as well.
