If this is were Timmy has descended to, paying for the upkeep of the oldfirm and then denying that’s what their doing, and on it goes.     The TFOD2.1 hangover continues.

     

    The pitch was looking a bit cut up so that didn’t help either.

     

     

    However as new players come it can be seen that quite a few players will be heading out.

     

     

    JF looks a completely broken player — confidence and appetite look shot.

     

    MJ is now a shadow of the player he could have been — not sure what has happened but he is physically / emotionally / tactically wrecked.

     

     

    AR is on the way down at an alarming rate of knots.

     

    SW needs real games — he is unique in that he is not the player he was last season.

     

    CJ looked a bit undercooked — shadow of his former self.

     

     

    CCV was a bit off the pace.

     

    JH needs help to command his 6 yard box.

     

    NB needs to improve his mental stamina — the penalty kick was a shocker.

     

    RH / TR — both trying to hard.

     

     

    Consequently a poor performance no matter how many goals we scored.

     

    Finally another cheapshot from the opposition — this time it was a stamp on DM.

     

    This is now well beyond pure chance and bad luck — somebody has put a target on our backs.

     

     

    Lots of work required before Thursday night.

    Have witnessed dozens of this type of game over the years. Celtic at home to a lower league team in a cup. Win one nil or six nil, result and performance will very soon be forgotten.

     

    Our cup focus often doesn’t start until the quarters, sometimes even the semi’s. Players are only human.

     

    Atmosphere and motivation will be up a couple of notches on Thursday night.

    That was a tough first half to watch mainly because it was Baltic.

     

     

    That has to be one of the worst linesman performances in the 2nd half – the scumbag was cheating pure and simple, stopping 3 Superb defence splitting passes that would have likely led to goals. Hun scum.

     

     

    Well Done Celtic and good to see big Chris back, he still has a bit to go I reckon – patience required.

    When I’m on a readback, I love a series of MadMitch, Park the Bus etc posts as I get through the readback quicker.

     

    Nothing against either but if Mad Mitch hasn’t time to type names, I don’t have time to decipher initials.

     

    Regarding Kev Jungle, the sad thing is when he stops the nonsense he is a first class Poster,

     

    However he prefers acting the clown so again I tend to scroll on by.

     

    Anyhow I’m sure neither care one way or the other and that is the way it should be.

    Ok it was not great today but we have all seen this movie many times before. We won 4-0. We are in the hat ….. warm or cold ball ? Anyone at home and really to be honest anyone away for me.

     

     

    I am still glad I have my flights booked for Albania in May. Still glad the flights are 2 days after the Scottish Cup Final too. A day in between to celebrate hopefully.

     

     

    This will be a really special Celtic season IMO. Starfelt Jura Taylor McGregor Jota Abada O’Riley all missing today. Never mind Kyogo Turnbull and yet it was 4-0 and could have been more in a funereal atmosphere.
