If you get you kicks from slagging players, you will remember the misplaced pass, a ghuy being out of position or beaten by a clever flick etc.
A Football match is not a Ballet performance where you sit down & expect a flawless performance,
If our ghuys can be clever & wrongfoot their defense so can the opposition,
Last night was far from perfect, of course it was, we had a team that had neve played a competitive game together before.
In those circumstances I thought we were brilliant, Welsh, Scales, Urhoghide & Shaw all showed they have potential to be first squad regulars, that alone made the night for me.

Agree on the corner taking, noticed immediately they had great pace and into great areas.
We should continue with him for now.
I may be wrong on the exact numbers but in the previous two games we had 15+ corners and never threatened. Most hit the first defender.

I agree with that my only gripe is that the players you mentioned, who all did well, lack genuine pace. Urhoghide came onto a game he got roasted in the first 25m but I liked his aggression.
Welsh and Scales definitely deserve more time and I would not be worried playing them against the huns.

How many players are out with hamstring injuries? Is there an issue with fitness/ training/ playing style that’s causing a problem?
Read Ange’s comments from last night about it. He gives a good explanation
celtic40me on
Asked if he would temper the training and playing style to protect his players from injury, he added: “No, it’s not possible. It’s a by-product of the team we want to be and it’s part of the process.
“I’ve been through it a number of times with teams I’ve taken over and the initial process is always difficult.
“Games are coming thick and fast, but that’s the level we want to be at.

I thought Bain did well last night in difficult circumstances playing in a makeshift side few of whom are used to playing Angeball football.. He couldn’t really be blamed for either goal (he was unlucky with the second one) made a couple of decent saves and seemed to cope with the sweeper keeper style required of him.

He seems to have a stubborn, reckless streak. It’s good when it’s going well but there’s hardly any margin for error. What sized squads has he been used to having in the past? Has he relied on rotating a large squad to take account of injuries?

No idea. Simple logic suggests that we’d be picking up more muscle injuries if we increase the intensity of the training and playing
Players from Chelsea and Tottenham have both said how tiring the new regimes are, the amount of intense running they are expected to do in training and the matches has taken then by surprise. There was a rumour that a few of the Chelsea players were looking to move in January because they couldn’t handle it anymore, but it was probably a joke
Its the way the game is going, and Ange obviously isn’t one for half-measures. Revolution not evolution

If we want to get better as a team / squad / club then we need to do more of the good and less of the bad.
We need to be realistic — no use blowing smoke up young player’s erses if we allow them to stagnate and not push them to improve.
AM @ LB has looked good / positive going forward with the ball.
Not a natural LB to me but he has put in a shift and has been competitive.
AM @ LW / last night was honking — totally out of his depth.
Fell over at every opportunity and just kept doing the same failing stuff.
Not sure if the pitch was part of his poor performance but he never looked confident.
Reality hit him hard and he didn’t respond well.
Hopefully he realises he has much work to do and learns from last night.

Great entertaing game last night – everyone around us seemed to fell the same. Smiles all round, even taking Kyogo injury into account.
When people say it was a dead rubber, I understand that from perspective of group standing, but the 2 coefficient points won could see us through to CL next year, so could be important in the long run.
MOM for me was Welsh – the bhoy’s getting more assured every game. Passing, pace, solid defender, scored – last gasp tackle to prevent a goal was amazing. He’ll be a cracker for years to come if he keeps improving. Big Scales also looks good every time I see him.
Kyogo – hopefully not too bad – didn’t look terrible but we’ll get update today. Options up front if he isn’t fit? Probably as last night MJ through middle with Abada and Monty either site, although Abada and MJ could also switch.
Rogic and CCV – and possibly Wee Jimmy – back for Sun. Should be enough – if Kyogo is borderline, leave him on bench / out.

His decision making to pick up or kick the ball was off all night, Sutton was pulling his hair out on commentary.
Enjoyable game overall, at least it’s fun watching Celtic these days.
