Well done the bhoys today. A controlled performance from start to finish. Three points two goals and a clean sheet. More importantly not too much energy expended. Still mistakes being made which I put down to concentration levels due to the importance of Wednesday’s game. I like the look of Boyata , Tierney, and Janko as its the first time I have seen them in the hoops. Augurs well for this season. I hope Leigh is fit for Wednesday for me he has to play if we are hoping to score.
Even though we are winning 2-0, according to some on here we have Ronnie and Johnny’s jobs hanging by a thread, Stuart Armstrong, Dedryk Boyata, Efe Ambrose, James Forest and Stefan Scepovic are all duds and we have no hope of winning anything this season.
God give me strength. With supporters like that we don’t need enemies.

Full time and job done but plenty of room for improvement.
Really hope the Griff is fit for Wednesday.

I reckon Luggy should have got stripped after unfurling the flag today.
He’d have passed the ball better than most of these today.
Not a pretty performance against,at best, the equivalent of a fourth tier English side.
Must do better Celtic…..Much better on Wednesday hopefully.

First league game of season with a 2 nil victory and only 1 of our back 4 a regular last season.
Arguably our best midfielder not playing..

Best striker off injured
.
2nd choice striker suspended.

And a massive game on Wednesday.

Get a grip and go watch Barcelona if you want perfection.
3 points and a clean sheet, perfect start to the season. Have to say, I thought Jackson Irvine had a very good game. Maybe he’ll do a Chicco, and return one day!

Good win. Okay performance but it is only first league game of season. Game changed when Griff came off. He would easily of had a hatrick today.
Sets it up nicely for wed if griff is not injured!
Good start to the season, should be doing better at corner kicks though.HH

Enjoyable game, but too many slack passes, defending a bit ropey at times but entertaining all the same. For all the negative posters about scepovic, if he doesn’t get passed to how can he score. There were a few times he’d pulled away from his marker and made space, but either he wasn’t passed to or the ball went back. I reckon he’d score a barrowload if given a half dozen games. Forrest is mince, doesn’t do anything for me, gms wasn’t spectacular but he kept going and was in the end very productive, thought Armstrong was immense. All my opinion of course ;)

MoM was RC Jackson Irving. Caused us lots of bother and matched Broonie all day long.
Tidy Celtic win, Scepovic toothless, Boyata strong but needs to concentrate on his passing
Love seeing Commons in the No. 10 role. Thought he played well and would do us a turn against Quarabag

Tierney, like Henderson, comes up from the U20s and slots in no problem. Knows the shape and the plan. Full credit to Steve Frail and his team for developing class players who play with confidence and flair at top level.

Read the comments when you come to a really critical one look up at the name. 2 or 3 posters responsible for the lot. We’ve all sat beside these type of guys, right pain in the arses. Yes of course it wasn’t perfect and there were quite a few errors made but there was also a lot of style shown. I don’t mind balanced criticism but when you see the same guys always with the bad word and nothing about the good stuff it makes you wonder.
I enjoyed the game, Virgil & GMS were my candidates for MOM, thought Tierney was excellent, Gordon did his stuff when needed.

Stokes v Forrest.. ?

I’m pretty sure stokes was a lot more dangerous out of position on the left wing last season than young Jamsey was in his position.
.
Not saying stokes deserves a 3yr deal or anything but if he is allowed to leave then forrest, scepovic and sadly ambrose should be sharing a taxi.

Good start to the season 3 points and a clean sheet but there are obvious deficiencies that Ronny need to urgently address. Our passing at times was bordering on amateur. How many times did we give away possession due to misplaced square balls. We will be punished by better teams than RC if we continue to gift possession as we did today.
Scepovic contributed nothing which is a big concern as we may have to use him should LG’s injury make him unavailable . KC added some much needed skill and guile when he came on and we look a much more potent threat with Kris on the park. I’d play KC every game if he is fit.
Major plus from today – Tierney had a great game.
