Sideways pass does my head in, seems there is many a midfield millionaire (esp in Epl) who make a successful career from it.

    .

So maybe I’m the ejit who doesn’t understand .

    .

I was always told into space if u can.. Obviously if there’s defender approaching the player give it to his feet and go towards him for a return option.

    .

But iv never got paid to play the game so prob loada ballix

  3. I see the hunterlopers are out even on the live updates thread now…

Imagine being forced to watch the Hoops just so you attempt a wind up? The pain is palpable :-)

Comfortable game today, with us always in control. The players who stepped up will give Ronny some food for thought.

The new format looks great, and now all the eggs are in one basket, it’s truly destination CQN.

    Winning Captains-

My iPad is still in multiple loading loop, but getting better. You must be going doolally from that by now :-)

  4. Celtic today, in parts were majestic This remember is Scottish football.

Sure, thanks for the response but don’t you think that if it is a planned initiative to tire the other side, then the opposition might be a bit more ‘tired’ if they had to turn and chase the ball inside of the full backs rather than facing off in banks of four knowing full well that we do not have a play-maker per se in our side????

And do you think that Gary Caldwell was that farsighted ??? :-)

  6. Dundee surge to top of SPFL.

There’s no team I’d like more to be relegated than Kilmarnock.

But that’s just me. Or is it? :-)

  7. Neil McCann, ha-ha-ha!

    Neil McCann, ha-ha-ha!

    etc.

Green Brigade prominent on SSN, that’ll bust a few Hun fuses, lol.

    Listless performance today.

Scepovic – obviously didn’t expect to get on. Cifit banned for 6. PLAy Scepovic from the start for half-a-dozen games.

If he’s pish, he’s pish, so punt him. But don’t let potential slip away when the waster Guidetti got ten times the starts he deserved.

    Thanks, Agreed.

Never having been paid to play!!!! Pfft…………… Neither was Mourhino, Wenger, ABM, et al; and anyway, you don’t have to be a hen to know when an egg is off!!! Or is that oeuf?

    Cheers.

wouldnt it be really funny tho if the did a motherwell and beat newco rangers in a play off game,

i would enjoy that just as much

One of the advantages of being ‘at the game’ is a bonus of not having Neil McCann’s bias poison the game, but surely he should be told to check the rules of the game before he comments again on an incident like Craig Gordon’s appropriate yellow card

Just seen the replay Richard Forster’s assault on Stefan Scepovic, and although Willie Collum had a perfectly clear view of the incident, without the need for the eyes he has in the back of his head, he McLeaned it.

Then again maybe we mustn’t grumble as we’d already had our stonewaller.

  11. Does anyone know when we are leaving for Baku?

Have we hired a charter jet as we did before?

Or are we using the old Fokker. ;-)

  12. how big was the attendance today ?

and what kind of attendance in the pay gate area ?

on wed i would guess there was about a thousand across the four sections . just wondering if its worthwhile to the club.

  13. Saint Stivs on 1st August 2015 6:09 pm

A wee bit unfair, we’d all love Sevco to be beaten by anyone.

    Even Hearts.

Good to see the Copy and Paste is not pulling across the link. :-(

Yeah, but we are more likely to surrender possession “taking a risk” when opponents are alert and energetic ?

There has to be a reason why the team knock the ball from side to side for such long periods. Thinking back this seems to be the case in the opening 45.

  15. SAINT STIVS on 1ST AUGUST 2015 6:12 PM

Official attendance was 45k. Looked less than Wednesday when they said there was only 43k.

The banners were back in the Lisbon Lions Upper with only one section open for pay at the gate, didn’t look that many on it.

  16. I said at kick off I thought the attendance looked healthy.

However someone else thought the opposite.

    BBC says 45,197.

I thought it was closer to 45,200

Really, not what I want to see at a game. Considered risks eh!

Don’t want this to become a long drawn out yes/no/aye/naw type thing but taking a risk c’mon BCW???

Every game (in theory) would be nil/nil if risks were avoided eh!

I’ll take risks over sterility any day of the week but hey your choice is your choice. Cheers.

Maybe that is why I look for handicap oversights in my search for the elusive pay day on the Saturday geegees.

Reading me wrong mate. I’d have two strikers on the park, everyday of the week.

Trying to figure why Celtic are playing as they do just now.

  21. Just saw eye clip of enda Kenny and the muppets at the graveside of o’donovan rossa doing famous Pearse speech.

    Now now proud bhoy

Nothing wrong with sending flowers to martin mcguinness’s girl friend

  23. Right, off to my kip. Don’t post that much anymore and will surely be posting even less than before given that ‘we’ have decided the overseas ticket is not going to happen in this household, following the Baku broadcasting debacle and its associated fallout. Good news though for my current neighbours and not so so good for my Halfway fellow council tax avoider’s, is that we will be back in September ( all being well) for six weeks or so……….At least I will be able to spend some time with my big pal Marspapa ((God Bless him and his) whom, did you see that eh, whom eh!) I can understand and converse with in our common vernacular.

Nonetheless, I look forward to socialising with the South Lanarkshire second language brigade……….Whaur is thone Blan’uur oanywey???

Just finished watching todays game , unfortunately I had other commitments ….. McCann couldn’t make his hatred towards Celtic any more apparent ……. Horrible human being !

  26. i'vehadtochangemyname on

I’ve made it through operation stack on holyers to France if anybody else is off – junction 8 and 9 shut only, short detour on A20 – nae real bother ( unlike the poor punters the other side- jeez saw one carrying a kid on the telly – fupp knows what they’ve been through)

    Vive la celtic!

  27. Man City fans raving about Jason Denayer he came on as a half time sub today. City were 4-0 down at half time. He steadied the ship for them. By the sounds of things he’s been great pre season and they want to put him in front of Kompany.
