A much improved second half by Celtic who went on to dominate Ross County winning by a margin of 2 clear goals. Not exactly scintillating stuff but a comfortable win all the same leaving Celtic 3 points clear at the top

i see Lawell comes out of the woodwork and heads to geneva to fight for Money – i wish he would grow a set in scotland and stand up for the club more publicly. refs, pitches, SFA shenanigans ..his only interest is profit and bonus
Worst decision the ref would have to answer to is the deliberate handball when CG was knocking the ball to KT and centre forward stuck hand out to intercept it.
It must be a caution, no ifs or buts….but?

The second half was better.
The defense looked solid and Boyata and Erik look like they could be a strong partnership.
Still worry about our lack of movement and anticipation.
We are a completely reactive team and unlees this changes we will struggle.
I have never seen a team so consistent in passing behind team mates.
Still think Bitton is our problem.
Cant tackle.poor positionally and offers nothing positive.
He is a big reason for our stalled engine room.

We won the game and we deserved to win the game and that is the all important thing.
It was not a 5 star performance and there are still doubts and questions to be answered, there were some positives out there, I thought Joe Hanson tried really hard, Boyata had a good game, Tierney continues to impress, I just love the kid but for me yet again Griff showed why he is our ace man.
No chest thumping but not too bad either, a kind of a strange feeling not up not down but happy with the 3 points.

In every one of our games the refs are incredibly consistent.
Allowing our opponents to commit yellow card offenses without the deserved caution.
The same challenges by Celtic players immediately produce yellows.

Fanatic …. usually agree with you, but I’m not sure about this one ….
how may players come to us, start off looking to play forward passes, then after a few games of seeing no movement, start throwing up their hands, and start knocking the ball sideways or backwards…
NB is not the only one I recall this happening with ….

Big Gaelig Football game on at the moment for Clonmel where I live. They are playing the Dublin Champions in the semi final of the All Ireland Football Championship. This is ground breaking stuff for this town, a kind of East Kilbride feeling. It’s really tight at the moment 25 minutes to go and Clonmel lead by a point.
Oh Shite the Dubs have just equalised. Come on Clonmel.

How are you pal.
Happy to differ on this one.
I have being saying the entire season that Bitton is the problem and he keeps reaffirming my view.
Lats week counties first goal came from a weak defensive effort by Nir and the ball dropped in danger zone for them to score.
Today Gordon made a great save after a truly poor attempt at defense by Nir allowed a lear shot from same area.
A lot of our goals against are from an area he is supposed to control.
He is very poor positionally.
Also he always takes the easy pass which is usually sideways or backwards.
If we where more proactive he could pass into space with the ability you say he has but since we are a reactionary team then he has no point being selected.
Hail Hail

Fan-a-tic … cant argue with your thoughts on NB’s defensive gaffs … they have been there for all to see ….
and I am not sure if he is a bit short of heart, or, just like the rest of the players (except one or two -LG, KT and the new CB who all seem to have an innate confidence) has simply lost his confidence under RD…
however, he is still one of the few true footballers in our team …
If we dont ruin his confidence completely, he would one of the few that could cut it in the EPL/could make us a few bob on a transfer.
I think LMS6 has got me addicted to gambling? Fancy a wee wager? 20 pounds to charity … I wager that, at some point next season (under a new manager) you will come back and say ‘Mike, you were right… NB is a player!’ ….

Hope you both have a smashing wee night, and all your good work is much appreciated, the hoops win, and none of the good ghuys profit through selling their souls this week and last week, I think, just a personal opinion the money goes to wee Shay, we all entered the competition and wee Shay is still standing, and when all said and done that’s what LMS is all about, hope you don’t think am over stepping the mark but I think that would be the best thing then ….. Then we go for the next LMS

An easy three points, not a great display but a professional one. Defence looked solid, thought Boyata had possibly his game in the hoops. GMS grew in confidence the game went on and even Bitton and Armstrong, who were the weak links in the first half, came onto a game in the second. Johansen a bit more like the player he was last season, although his passing is as poor as ever.
The press and media will need to do some work this week rather than spend it Celtic/Ronny bashing. Roll on the second part of the Highland double next week.

Better second half today. A bit worried that my nephew Marcus Fraser dislocated his shoulder. In hospital just now.

If we get anything around 5million he will be gone but if he stays it would have to be in a different position.
I don’t doubt there is ability but not in the position he plays for us.
Someone last week said Nir is the most intelligent player we had?
I have seen no evidence but a well coached team who had movement and attacked positive zones then his passing may come to the fore.
He is not a holding mid due to the facts that he is positionally poor and can’t tackle and rarely sets up any forward play.
Seriously I will be in shorts as reffing a game in a dome at 4pm.

Highlight of the match for me…Guy in the main stand headers the ball back into play, whilst talking on the phone………..and continues the conversation as if nothing had happened !!
Really enjoyed the game but there ain’t half some negative nellies around.
Today was won by hard work and effort which is to be applauded. Stuart Armstrong, who was having a poor game, stuck at it, showing resilience, and got his reward with a nice chip for Dedryk. Stefan Johansen, booed at every turn, never stopped running and harrying and put a few Ross County hardmen in their place. Nir Bitton never lost a ball in the crowded midfield in the opening 24 minutes, he won a few 50:50 tackles and Ross Co. players were beginning to stand off him. Then, on the 24th minute mark, he lost his first tackle and there were immediate loud groans and boos. We are eating our own at CP these days.
Best performances today were from Shiavtchenko, Griffiths and Tierney. Great effort from Brown and Johansen and some real flashes of skill from Biton. The only signs of nervousness in the Celtic team was Craig Gordon who made 3 or 4 unforced errors early on before producing a good save.
Aff oot now and looking forward to making it a Highland double next week.
But seriously, some of you need to get a wee bit more joy in your lives. The negativity is unprecedented and way over the mark.
Well done the Glasgow Celtic!
Oh and well done the LNS guys who picked Sevco- just like myself and MIT and Lennybhoy last week- you put the mockers on them by taking them as your pick
