  1. Cracking game today. Some great interplay in the midfield. Very pleased here in a very cold Cracow.

  2. a light insanity on 23rd January 2016 7:45 pm

Wouldnt say IMO motm but his partne today needs to concentrate

Also I think Biton has deceiving pace. Always looks casual but…..

  3. sipsini-I did mate and he replied, and thanks to BMCUW for emailing his post this morning.Thank you & TBJ hopefully it might happen. More than just a blog .HH

  4. Yeah saw some people mention jozo, The big man wanders a lot and not in VVD way. Seems to lack positional sense when attacking a header and reading the game. Watching him saunter around the park i get the impression he thinks he’s the bee’s knees. Big man needs a reality check me I think.

saying that to my mate today. GMS and Armstrong seem to like this time of year as well. As you say long may it continue.

  6. Posted earlier…..and wont post it again if nobody knows or cares …..but what is the sketch with mobi phone lights/flashes goin off during the game ?

I think GMS & SA are cracking players, they started great then sort of drifted out of things, in my opinion Ronny is “managing” them very well and for a lot of Ronny doubters, and some of it is merited, I think he is bringing the, back into the team gradually, then Ronny puts Stef Jo back in today, Ronny is big enough and ugly enough to fight his own battles but I think we have a right good manager, the improvement in Leigh and even though I love wee Izzy, Ronny is turning young KT slowly but surely into a right good wee full back

  8. I know i’m preaching to the converted but here comes the usual BS

Why is our League Cup game on the Sunday, not the Saturday, let the lesser teams churn up the pitch to give Ross County a chance.

Then surprise surprise, wednesday night up at the sheep pen, what a coincidence.

After that when we play in the Scottish Cup, they have somehow found Aberdeen a game against St Johnstone.

I wonder how that would have looked if the boot was on the other foot

Your not that good at whispering or trying too keep a secret

If MOH adds to the squad welcome him with open arms

Happy with the performances in 2016 … the partick game wasn’t great but 5 wins with 19 goals scored and 3 conceded is encouraging.

Hopefully the addition of big eck and the return of our captain will be further enhanced with abother striker to support tea cake .

Good to catch up with a great clique at cqn corner. .. not a grumpy moaning face on show

  11. TBJ says Wee Oscar Knox is in heaven with the angels on

I watched moh closely today. … decent pace and pretty direct when he’s on the ball . Would be a better player in a better football team .

Offload Joe Hanson and give st johnstone 10% of what we get … Michael will be happy with half of Joe Hanson wage .

  12. I’m happy with our team just now…. In fact delighted.

However, still not convinced by Craig Gordon.

I really believe there is a weakness there.

  13. Gerryfraethebrig

Maybe the whisper is for a reason?

If it wasn’t for here tonight it wouldn’t be here.

An additional striker is the objective and there is a list….

  14. I get that it’s a forum and peoples opinions differ….. But seriously, those doubting big Jozo…. Geez peace.

Every combination of Boyata and Ambrose, Boyata and Blackett, Ambrose and Blackett, were tried earlier this season, and to a man , to a combination, they all failed.

The defence has only looked remotely secure when Jozo has been involved.

Anyone who says different is blind.

It’s almost certain that Jozo and Erik will form our defence for at least a couple of years. And me for one is looking forward to that.

I don’t doubt you for a second, not saw much of Michael in the flesh, but any good addition to our squad is good enough for me, I was being a bit facetious with you saying to whisper it

Whilst O’Halloran gave a decent account of himself today his goalscoring record is extremely poor.

He could be a late developer though.

We need another striker and we have to get it right as our signings in this department have been shocking.

  17. Would be good to get a striker in. Cole not fit and Nadir not near the team and looks like a player who knows it.

Jozo had disaster today as did the Griffalo.

That’s allowed, but if Efe had did any of that stuff he would have been dead :-)

Like Collum, he’s a rotten ref.

  20. ruggygman

Jozo was poor today. Skinned for their goal and on other occasions. Never won a header, seldom does. Put us under pressure with his sloppy play/defending.

Can’t see why we paid so much for him.

    Not commanding or dominating. IMHO.

  21. St Stivs,

WINNING CAPTAINS on 23RD JANUARY 2016 5:38 PM

Match report posted from the Tommy Gemmell Celtic Supporters Club bus.

Delighted that both Dundee Utd and Hibs won ( with a few Celts scoring for Hibs) – ideal scenario Dundee Utd get to play-off position and Stokes inspires Hibs to win their league.

Dundee Utd then do to them what Motherwell did last year as we win the Treble.

    ===================================================================================

    Oh,yes please.

    Come to think of it.

Perhaps time for a few……erm.. …strategic player loans to Dundee Utd.

The experience they gain would be invaluable.

    :-)

  23. Tricoloured Ribbon on

Fantastic rocket shot into the top corner by Liam Henderson for Hibs today.

Saw it earlier there and Stokes netted from about a foot.Still,he was there to convert it.
