I am kevinfaethebrig mate, I hope your right with Ronnie, I think the utd Bhoys kicked us on the second half of last season after JG stopped scoring. The MD played well today and mcgregor had a good game CM. Headache for Ronnie when Brown is fit again, Jo looks to be playing a bit better past month but he still can’t pick a pass this season.
I also watched MOH today and thought he did ok, If we get a few off the books he might be worth a punt but we are too heavy just now squad wise and Ronnie is struggling to make the pieces fit into a consistent team.
Its a Striker we need, Can’t put it all on Leigh, Wee man had Nadir’s boots today. ;)

I’ll be surprised if he’s still at Tannadice at the end of the window.

I appreciate Jozo wasn’t great today.
But my point remains. Every other combination represents a total liability. This has been proven.
For me, our defence feels safer, more secure when Jozo is one of the central pairing.
For me Efe or Boyata is completely 50/50. They both have a disaster round the very next corner

Stefan Scepovic is a player. I have watched him closely at Getafe. Look forward to him returning to us from his loan there.
Enjoyed the game today, what I like about Griff is his head doesn’t go down or that he hides. He just shrugs the previous misses off and gets on with it. Jozo was to blame for their goal and didn’t have a great game overall but not writing him off at this stage…

Before I joined the blog (start of 2015) I lurked for a bit thought you mentioned a few things from ML5, I am a massive Griffiths fan, from day dot, for a bit I thought he wasn’t going to fit into Ronny’s plans, seen it all before, but the wee man has screwed the nut and even though he can score goals he has definitely improved as a footballer under Ronny….. I never get to down about Celtic but when it’s good you canny beat it

Tuesday we got the very early goal and built on it.
We looked a bit bemused after McLean scored, their first goal in six games , but we stuck to our task today.
McLean and Murray Davidson were two of the St Johnstone players who didn’t applaud us onto the pitch in our last game of the 2012/13 season. McLean’s behaviour on the pitch, today, left a bad taste in the mouth.
We played well . Gary and Stuart , played their best this season.
The foul given against Leigh, who was standing at an angle to the goalie, was ridiculous.
I also joined the Celtic Trust today and talking of which, Hamiltontim , I hope you have had a great birthday.

I am very surprised he was let go, but I doubt he wanted to be with us in the first place, so maybes his attitude wisny right, who knows, I don’t think he was given a chance, maybes scotland is no suited to him, what with having to play to a different set of rules, not all players can adapt.

What was that foul against the Griff all about, he wasn’t bothering the keeper, he wasn’t in his line of sight, the keeper just made a bollix of his kick out, but it’s the way it is.

If there’s a 50/50 we never get the benefit of the doubt always goes against us. if the ref is unsighted it goes against us just in case it was us. We only seem to get a foul when its in an unthreatening position or we are winning at a canter and then we get them.

That was an absolutely ludicrous decision by clancy.
Griff had his back to the keeper and was at least 5 yards away . Keeper made a howler of a kick out and he must have sighed in relief when that tit gave a foul.

The exiled tim and Delaney’s , Scepovic was making good runs and getting into good positions but wasn’t getting the ball from his team mates for whatever reason.
One of the frustrating things today was the players’ reluctance to take a shot quickly .

Even though we are not far away you suffer more than me with the Sevconians, I worry when Celtic score and when Celtic don’t score… I was telling the good lady about you worry when we score early, she thinks your a “worrier” all kidding aside I think Ronny is “managing” our team well, Young KT is getting better and better and the Dundee Utd bhoys are finding their way back in, by the way I would keep James Forrest, that bhoy has got something, what a footballer and is actually articulate in his writings

Most of the times I moan about refs when we win, embarrass the cheats into making the correct decisions, the McLean cheat in the semi final (ably assisted by his 6th official) I canny complain we shouldn’t have lost a goalie and penalty from our corner…..don’t make it easy for them

I really did have a love/hate relationship with the bold pat. When he was on your side he was brilliant. A fierce very clever. Well spoken. Articulate. He could have been a great politician.
I got wrong side of him a few times and Jesse on he tore me up. I came close a few times to saying let’s take it outside. Damien told me don’t even think of it. He is eldest in a family of 16. You don’t be as outspoken as pat without being able to box ears.
He was the best hun wind up merchant I ever met. Never lost an argument. Faced them down many a time.

Jozo needs to toughen up a bit,the much maligned Efe ,was immaculate today. Really good 2nd half IMO,could have had a few more.
Raven – I was in Modules 1 – 3, had a £5 bet for every rangers game with a hun who in a previous life was a Morton supporter, I found them to be the worst after Souness arrived, at last years semi final he was asking for a goal of a start, loved it….

My views on ronny haven’t changed but I made a promise to Phil bhoy that I wouldn’t slag off ronny any more until his little pal Archie got the all clear. The promise was made in the new spirit of respect that was being promoted on cqn and I will stick to it.

My apologies to the group of CQNers I more or less rushed by today. I was headed to a charity foundation meeting which I hoped would end in time for me to get to the corner but that group – Paul67, Harry Brady, Mark Cameron, myself and the foundation reps – are a shower of oul gasbags! We could have still been there at half time!
Dallas – I am not sure that AMDG was the motto at St Als – I always thought it was Ad Majora Natus Sum – I was born for greater things – which always struck me as a bit of an indictment on the school itself!
