  1. Interesting that those in charge at the Aviva Stadium today have continued with the use of the Cranberries’ ‘Zombie’ which was heard throughout at the World Cup in France late 2023, sung by the Irish supporters that is. In Dublin, after emerging, once again as Northern Hemisphere’s Champions it is broadcast after Scotland are defeated. Dublin that is, the Capital City of the Republic.

  2. seems Brendan cant do management right on here,

he explained the substitutions, he is protecting ccv, he wants the youths involved, some players only have 60-70 minutes in them at this stage, others will return, we should defend that situation better no matter who ison the field.

the comments on here are beyond the pale, why did you give up your elite managers role at , em …………

  3. just back in from the game , soaking , we scored 3 and it could have and should have been more , their goalkeeper continual time wasting , even kicking the ball long as close to the lines looking for a defensive header challenge from us to put the ball out of play to waste even more time and each time he did he got the thumbs up from levin for doing so , the number of times the ref got in the way to stop our build up was embarrassing , var checks taking a duration to try and find anyway to disallow it , thought our subs once again broke our momentum ,also embarrassing that we had a centre back pairing of Iwata and welsh that looked all over the park and we lost a goal from it , why BR didn’t bring on a centre back for a centre back ,cost us their goal , poor management.

  4. Was a wee bit optimistic with my 4-0 Superbru prediction, but it did look on with a good part of the game still to go. But it was Saints that got the fourth goal of the game with a well worked out move switching it out wide, cross to far post, header across the goal then following up the goal attempt after Joe had saved. Looked quite fluent at times and created lot of scoring positions so cant be too disappointed with our overall efforts. Wee International break, so a chance for some of our injured players, Palma etc to get back to fitness.

*does that include the previous run away manager who probaly signed off on him

  8. Great result. Even better performance. Intensity was back with a vengeance. As good as we have been in some time and I include the Dundee game in that.

Bheaver please get help. Watching Celtic win so superbly and yet 90% of your comments are negative. If Celtic winning as well as we did todsy causes you this kind of stress go do supermarket shopping or to the movies. Or maybe even go support rangers. Or maybe you do.

Iwata was superb today. We had a team weakened by injuries to 4 players who might otherwise have started today and 1 suspended. THAT is why the bench and subs were not up to the same level as those on the park already. That said our manager mentioned tonight that Celtic fans judge players based on half an hour and it was great to see Kuhn responding to the armchair clowns who have slaughtered him in 2 months by getting mom.

As for Iwata, he was immense again today. Many around me thought he was MOM. Iwata and Kuhn examples of guys written off, as was Mooy, by ignorant types because of the need for instant gratification. Or folk who want to try score petty and pathetic points to prove themselves right. Sad really.

    Great win

Sweden capped the guy and we did have to move fast when the much maligned and former bombscare dud (according to many of our faithful) decided to follow the love of his life.

Lager was always a 3rd choice or maybe 4th choice CB. Then Scales stepped in and he became 5th choice. CCV Narwocki Welsh scales Lager.

looks like he has been using his wrong foot all these years with all those weak shots and crosses

Mjallby said when he was signed, he was nowhere near what is required at Celtic, and not good enough, happy to take his opinion

Let’s- delighted for wee Jamesie,a top pro,and hopefully got more to offer in the run in

  15. Missed today’s game because of attending a concert in Alloa Town Hall supporting a family member. Half time check was good, full time check even better. Quick read through the comments plus seeing the goals thanks to our Huddleboard messiah has set me up very nicely for a smug look at Sportscene later tonight.

Just finishing a nice red after dinner, feeling not smug exactly, but quietly confident as we stare down the back end of the season. players coming back, new players bedding in, other players (winners!!) returning to play their part.

Wishful thinking probably, but for once the International break (which I generally loathe) is coming at a good time for us – rest our ‘big’ guys and when the battle resumes we are well ready to take on all of our enemies. And ….. of course by that time lawyered-up Brendan will have seen off the shysters in the SFA!

Has Jamsie F got a few more tricks up his sleeve before the season end, Come on James.

    Just keep winning Celtic.

    D66,

We’d all like a shot, but at least let us get the league wrapped up before we dust off our old boots.

And just in case Brendan is reading – I’m/was a winger 👍

    3-1 to the hoops.

    Kyogo, Maeda and O’Reilly

2-0 up when they’ll get they’re goal and we’ll score the 3rd on the break as they push for the equaliser.

    HopefulCSC 😂👍🍀🇮🇪⚽️

    Ahem! 😃👍

Got the score right, but not much else. 😂👍

Reckon 2-2 tomorrow, which will keep us top of the league.

Dundee will finish the game with 10 men and the Huns will score a penalty for one of their goals.

They look like a long season is taking its toll on them. Whereas, we look like we’re just starting to fire. At what everyone calls ‘the business end of the season!’

    Mon the fecking hoops!

    We can do this! 😃🍀⚽️🇮🇪🏆

    -‐———–

    Is this true?

  24. For those who just guess,or listen to stories,Lagerbielke was voted best defender in Sweden last season. His stats were fantastic. Most defensive headers, most interceptions, etc,in nearly every category,he was top.Thats why he was capped by Sweden.Unbelievably, watching our defending of crosses, his biggest strength is winning headers. Also good in opponents box.

Yep,why would he get a start for us.?

I am not his agent.II just know what we need,as should every other Celtic fan,who watches our woeful attempts to defend crosses.CCV is brilliant at what he does,we need backup for him.

  25. Referee at Dens Park tomorrow is Don Robertson the guy who hadn’t the backbone to stand by his correct decisions at Tynecastle two weeks ago, one of the assistants is the Tory guy with 3 jobs, “Red Card Red Card” Ross and the VAR main guy is an Ayrshire bluenose called Gregg Aitken.

The odds for a Dundee victory on betfair are 9/1 with those 3 involved I would be looking for 100/1.

  26. So many positives today. Very unlucky not to score six. Iwata, very good and beginning to look very confident I think the Japanese boys really need to feel confident to be at the top of their game. The wee man, kyogo, looked really sharp. Khun, again, was very good and I really noticed his work rate and tracking back was excellent. The defence looked so much more composed, with ccv back. Johnstoyon top of his game. I guess the main hurdle now is the spaghettiad and deciding who to risk. Fingers crossed, the rumours about calmac are rumours and we have him and Hatate on the bench.

  27. TB- So why does Lagerbielke not get a game then? Because the manager doesn’t rate him

  28. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Just watched the manager’s interview. Spot in. Excellent till the subs then fell off a cliff, which says a lot about squad depth,

Should have scored 7 or 8 today, but I swear these cheap goals we concede are going to kill ys. That central defence goes to pieces without CCV. It’s actually embarrassing to behold the liss of nerve, even against opponents as humble as St J.

Kuhn again superb today and St J were as jammy as I’ve seen a team in a long time.

Refs and VAR are cheats, pure and simple.
