Yeah there were moments were there was very audible groans from our support last night. There were some very brief moments were St Mirren had committed some men into our half and when the opportunity came to launch a counter, the ball went sideways or backwards – the crowd made their feelings clear.
We’re nowhere near as direct or as quick in the transition now. Our play is more laboured and played at a slower pace which allows opponents time to get their two banks organised.
There’s no doubt we’ve regressed.

I travel from Ireland so probably get to about 10 home games a season. The cost stops me going to some games (euro game and home game in same week); my dad having given it up has made it less of a duty and also there a clutch of home games around Dec/Jan which are mod week. Can’t take that many days off.
Still feels worth it and if i am on an extended break, i post my card to friends in Scotland.
I haven’t been to an away game in years. Last time i was offered a ticket was in 2011. That particular process is broken and potentially rigged.
when i was in England, our supporters’ bus only went to home games
To be honest though, as I wasn’t on a supporters bus in my youth, i seldom went to away games unless it was local in Kilmarnock or someone i knew was driving. As such , i have only been to Rugby Park, Easter Road and Hampden I think.
Poor show but was never a deliberate policy to not go to away games. A lot of my pals would be similar to me – home games only and cups

I’m fully expecting every game to be nervy. I’m expecting the players to understand themselves the gravity of dropping points. They know the score. I’m thinking little beyond Livi away at this point and my biggest search at the moment remains ‘when is Kyogo back’. I’m even missing Davy Turnbull’s wee annoying turn but even more, his ability to have a crack at goal.
Buckle in. Some few weeks coming up…let’s allow plenty of room for the worriers, moaners, dreamers, ubertims and all other parts of the Celtic spectrum. Win this one and it’s going down in folklore – that’s the prize fellas.

The crowd were getting at the players from as early as the 5th minute. I can understand groans from the stands when a Celtic player misplaces a pass or runs the ball out of play etc, but last night, Celtic players in possession and looking up for a player to pass to and finding nothing on, either passed sideways or back, to a chorus of groans.
That must affect the confidence of players and has got to diminish their performance. Hatate in particular was given short thrift throughout the first half.
We seem to be more nervous and critical while 3 point in front than we were at 6 points adrift. Obviously this league title is massive and a certain amount of nervous frustration is understandable, but I worry about the lack of patience in the support when the Bhoys are trying to breakdown a 10-man defence. It certainly can’t help.
Conversely, once we went ahead the groaning stopped and the support was tremendous.

As you say,the population displacements means the population of Gaza(1,000,000) is on the move away from Ukraine, and its only just begun.
Interestingly it shows the UKs change in its refugee policy/british citizenship stripping under ugly Patel, which says that the UK must be first port of call to refugees,so that’ll be no visas for refugees, plenty of weapons and arms to sell.
I haven’t read back yet but has anyone read the Herald Sports section today? He highlights Celtic fans’ antipathy towards the ‘Old Firm’ and humorously mentions the Green Brigade’s banner last night. He also mentions Celtic’s official position regarding the ‘Old Firm’ but it doesn’t chime with the actual behaviour of the Celtic Board. He gives the Celtic Board for having handled the publicity brilliantly by stealing a march on Sevco with the ‘Ange’s Australian Homecoming’ billing.
Meanwhile, on the inside pages Chris Jack launches an unrestrained, bilious, verbal assault on the Rangers Board for participating in the tour which will surely see him banned from his beloved Ibrox. In the middle of it he has a side swipe at Celtic but does not speak our name, “and why would you deal with a club who show nothing but contempt for Rangers and avoid the ‘Old Firm’ brand that that you are aiming to cash in on?’
He goes on to describe Sevco as,’a club synonymous with class, dignity and respect now conducts its business in a manner that just doesn’t sit right. Somewhere along the line, those that should know better lost their way.’
