    Celtic well worth the lead, but we needed a mistake from their keeper. Celtic not as dynamic as on Wed evening. Crosses have not been good enough.

     

    St Mirren playing the game the right way but offering no threat. McGinn is a nice wee player. Is he not related to a former Celtic director?

    HT Celtic 1-0 St.Mirren

     

     

    Subdued performance from the Bhoys in the first half. We never seemed to get into any kind of rhythm. Our forward play has been very poor with too many moves breaking down because of poor balls into the box. We spent most of time attacking down our left and Charlie and Izzy have both been ineffective in the St Mirren half.

     

     

    The new Bhoy has done OK. Neil will have to shake things up during half time. Would like to see James getting more of the ball down our right. Withdraw Stokes for Pukki as Pukki did really well second half last week.

     

     

    St Mirren have worked hard but show very little goal threat.

    Stokes frustrates me. He should dog out some Henrik videos and watch hus movement and decision making. Stokes decision making is really poor at times and I wonder if he will ever improve beyond his current cameos. Wee outide of the foot passes and reverse passes are great but not driving to the goal side of the man to cover the space.. for gawds sake plat the percentages.

     

    Johannsen looks like a great player. Interesting holding midfielder in an advanced position doing the simple things. Brings stability to the midfield.

    I like Johansson already. Plenty of dig about him and an obviously good football brain. Goodwin will not be going near him in the second half methinks.
