I’ve not had a chance to read through all the apologies from those who used their platforms to criticise the club, but I’ll set aside an hour to do so later. Keep an eye on the very personal attacks on Peter Lawwell. There are people at Hampden who don’t like his influence.
It’s never good to get ahead of yourself, and it would be foolish to assume too much ahead of our visit to Tannadice tomorrow, but I hope the Highlanders take a point against Aberdeen today. Winning the title would be a great way to start a holiday weekend.

I’m trying to work out the SFA stance on this penalty avoidance last week
They first say none of the officials saw it
On the back of that they get the compliance officer to cite the Caley clown for cheating
The Caley lawyers say the officials did see the incident and therefore the case shouldn’t have been raised
The SFA now say the officials did see the incident though felt the player headed the ball
A couple of concerns then. If the officials did see it what will their punishment be for incompetence? If a case can’t be cited because the officials did see it why did the SFA ban Derk for an incident the officials saw? Will Celtic fans ever get organized enough to do something about the ongoing cheating, see today with the hand for Sevco and last week for the stolen treble as proof.

It’s a matter of judgement based on experience and what is known.
Last week when no penalty was given I tweeted Scottish football a f××××××g joke.
One of my followers commented how bad it must be for me to swear.
So I well understand the anger and hope McLean gets sanctioned for incompetency. I just don’t see how he could be done for anything else.
If the demand is sack him then there has to be evidence it is deliberately done to disadvantage us and even then his “brothers” would still be around.
