Yesterday’s decision by the SFA’s Judicial Panel, which ruled that Josh Meekings could not be subject to retrospective action as the referee saw the contentious incident on Sunday contradicted the initial official version of events, and totally vindicated Celtic asking for clarification of the incident.
I’ve not had a chance to read through all the apologies from those who used their platforms to criticise the club, but I’ll set aside an hour to do so later. Keep an eye on the very personal attacks on Peter Lawwell. There are people at Hampden who don’t like his influence.
It’s never good to get ahead of yourself, and it would be foolish to assume too much ahead of our visit to Tannadice tomorrow, but I hope the Highlanders take a point against Aberdeen today. Winning the title would be a great way to start a holiday weekend.
Loving the narrative coming out of Ibox at the moment. It appears they haven’t even applied for membership of the ISDX yet as they haven’t found an advisor yet. I assume that’s the fault of the Easdales. Or the BBC. Or Celtic. Or maybe it’s the Pope of Rome!
What a shower. You know how this story ends….

Sevco equalise at 4.55 pm………how much extra time ?
well into time added eh!!! wee chick orgasms
Hibees 4-1
One incident that I have not seen mentioned was the Jim Callaghan affair in 1969. He was the referee of a Celtic vs Rangers (now in liquidation) match at Celtic Park where he failed to take action against John Hughes for committing a foul. Rangers felt that the infringement should have seen The Bear sent off and after the match contacted the SFA. Callaghan was suspended for several games and his career never really recovered.
Apologies if this has been posted earlier this week. I have only been able to follow CQN intermittently this week but it shows that the former Rangers (now in liquidation) did ask the authorities to take action against referees.
Plucky sevco scrape draw against team with feck all to play for…..
Marvellous.
don’t think that equaliser makes much difference ???
Boooooooooooooooo
BMCUWP
Perish the thought.
I’m saying if the ref did not think it was deliberate hand ball then the worst that can be said/proved is he is incompetent.
If that is what you meant originally then apologies.
The buns still need to go to Tynecastle and win, let’s see if Hearts are up for it or no…
2012 added minutes at the asbestos dome
10-21er at pondland?
3rd place for sevco
East Germany v West Germany 1974
Anyone?
Well in to added time indeed. It’s nearly 5 o’clock!!!!
Haven’t seen a minute of Vuckic for Rangers. But he seems to be the difference between them being shite and laughable shite.
Nope. He’s not that good.
But still made a difference.
RobertTressell
The ref added fives mins extra and blew almost as soon as the huns scored, Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard:)))
sevco needed to win.
Hibs win next week.
Sevco play QOS in first playoff
QOS win
QOS play Hibs
nobody cares after that (go up twice)
It won’t guarantee anything but I’d say they’ll be right up for it.
You’d think they’d wanna send their fans home for the summer happy and in the mood for renewing.

Aye Jim used to referee Saturday morning Civil Service league games after that.
We loved to have him as a ref. All common sense with a bit of humour.
hahahahahaha Huns being booed off by other Huns ….2 points lost Falkirk….
braw
Hopefully QOS will come up. Would like to see Hibs do a hearts next season amd whoever comes down fro thevSPFL to bounce back. The journey ain’t over yet…. I’ve got a funny feeling….
Said four minutes into injury time Huns scored.
Hibs win next week and everything is academic for Sevco.
Disappointed that the Sheep won. Wanted to win the league on Friday.
However, beat the two Dundee teams this week and the Sheep must win at Tannadice or Celtic are Champions.
Hibs game finished seconds before huns. Lets not get too hysterical chaps.
HH
that 93rd minute equaliser at home should be good enough to make sure the huns get a wee bonus in their paypacket this month? what dae ye think?
Auldheid. When were you at the Mungo?
StarryPlough. Hearts will roll over there already promoted as Champions and they will want there cousins in the SPL. H.H..
Mrs Budgy be gettin ur lavies wrecked next weekend.
Stan on TV for Citeh v Villa game. He’s looking well.

Joe,
Weirdly, every hearts fan I know, and there’s wheens around here, want hibs up rather than Sevco.
I can’t say I’d be the same if it were us :)
Sevco equalise in third half.
That equaliser means Hibs need to win next week when a draw would have been enough because of goal difference. Chico says they didn’t know how long the added time was because they don’t hold up a board in the Championship?
Captain booooood at Ibrox.
Then they cheered him.
Man that’s one flecked up. Lot
daft commentator on clyde ………..
rangers have a bit of momentum with the late equaliser going into the match at tynecastle.
Joe Filippis Haircut
I canny see it Joe, they will want to keep up their record etc etc…
It’s in Hib’s hands, get a result and the Tynecastle score canny touch them..
I’m looking forward to the spin on Sevco’s second season in the worrrrrrlds most competitive league, should be hilarious…
The Journey:)))

And I am saying that it matters not one jot what the referee says. Proof is decided on the weight of evidence. It is not done-even in a criminal court where the accused may be condemned to death-upon a confession(frequently thrown out of court)nor upon the smoking gun.
That prick knew that he would get away with not giving the penalty.
And he did,and he has.
We know what we saw. We also know what he saw. He did it for one very simple reason.
Because he could.
Houston will be resting his players for the final me thinks.

There have been so many things since last Sunday that should have pushed my BP higher than was safe. Nurse has just checked my vitals and all is well. Your articles this week have been vital for my vitals.
I miss out on (thankfully) some of the more local klingklang from the Scottish media and the SFA plants, and often only learn of things on here.
I too look forward to some of those perma-critics of all things Celtic trying look Peter Lawwell and others at the club directly in the eye.
Greenpinata had earlier in the week posted that many that he spoke to in the South ( I think) were critical of Celtic for always moaning. (actualy he is Mr.greenhingindonkeyfullofsweeties)
Those who expressed that view were encouraged by the same SFA leaks & MediaPals topped up by ex pros and “legneds” from a deid club from every dark corner.
Things for the Ill-Informed to Remember from last Sunday
– No Celtic fan, player or official has complained about Craig Gordon’s sending off.
– No Celtic fan, player or official have leveled any direct criticism at ICT.
– Celtic have merely refused to be browbeaten by duplicity and incompetence.
– Many Celtic fans, players and officials were against the Meekings ban, even before the appeal was heard before the Judicial Panel.
– The “other” agenda ref the Resolution 12 papers landing at Hampden at around the same time, and the personal vilification of Peter Lawwell through leaks and tame media puppets would shame a banana republic or North Korea. (apologies to North Korean Tims in the Pyongyang Ki Sung Yeung CSC)
Yes, yes, yes north and south being confused is usually restricted to Olympic flegs but I am enjoying myself.
Screw them down Celtic, all the way down.
HH
QoTS will beat Sevco.
Hibs will beat QoTS.
Motherwell will beat Hibs.
As you were.
