CELTIC’S DOUBLE IBROX BOOST

CELTIC have received a boost before their visit to Ibrox on Sunday with the news Kieran Tierney will be fit for the fourth Glasgow derby of the season.

Mikael Lustig, who limped off near the end of the 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie that sealed the eighth successive title last weekend, is also likely to be available for the penultimate Premiership encounter of the campaign.

Tierney, who will undergo a double hernia operation in the summer, also came off during the victory over the Dons when he was replaced by Jonny Hayes.

The 21-year-old Scotland international is due to go under the knife after the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts at Hampden on May 25 when the Hoops can clinch the unprecedented treble treble.

KT was in the squad for the last visit to Govan in December, but remained on the substitutes’ bench while Callum McGregor played out of position in his No.3 slot.

It was a frustrating afternoon all round as the champions lost their first game in 13 against the Ibrox team, but the defender is looking forward to a happier encounter in the High Noon showdown.
