Ciftci, the bite and having his card marked

649

Starting with a blank sheet of paper and a player found guilty of biting an opponent, I’d struggle to justify a punishment less than 6 games.  It’s by no means the worst thing that happens on a football field, or the most dangerous, but it’s primitive, unhygienic and poses health risks.

Few of us have prior knowledge of Nadir Ciftci, so there’s little point in looking online for character references.  The player was charged with biting an opponent.  He denied the allegation but was found guilty by an SFA disciplinary panel yesterday.  I’ve seen photos of Jim McAlister’s bite-sized leg wound and have no interest in hearing mitigating comment about what happened during the Dundee derby.

Despite this, Nadir is having a good month.  He signed for Celtic, made his debut and potentially has five Champions League qualifiers to play between now and his domestic suspension concluding at the end of August (yes, six league games in August).  If he’s a clever guy, he’ll force his way into the manager’s plans for those five games and never look back.  If not, he’ll find his card marked, like a Dundonian leg.

Nobody should be surprised at anything the sfa do, after all, the head honcho of the sfa was an EBT recipient.

Corrupt to their sectarian core, and always will be till the supporters of all the clubs make a stand and withhold their money, then the clubs will act, till then, it’s same old, same old.

Don’t know how close Celtic were to signing Jelle Vossen this summer but I noticed he’s already injured, calf, which meant he didn’t travel with his Burnley team-mates this week. Bullet dodged for us.

My feeling is that both Ciftci and Griffiths will score tonight.

    Good luck Celts

I note that Sevco last night lost 1-0 to Burnley during the first public airing of their new Galacticos. I checked a Burnley website to try to gauge the strength of the Burnley team which featured. I found this:

“Sean Dyche named a starting eleven that featured for the opening hour, with five Development Squad players making an appearance in the absence of three injured strikers.”

I wonder if this has been pointed out by any of the smsm hacks.

I guess we should start quaking in our shoes.

    Hail Hail fella.

Yeah, King Kojo was / is a ‘hero’ of mine…an enemy of others…that’s life.

As you say, some of his material was difficult to decipher but, in the main I think he was too ‘real’ for some CQNer’s who were / are conceited through their involvement in the assortment of cliques that are on the go on here.

Strangely…King Kojo was labelled a ‘racist’ by the same folk who fawn over LG.

King Kojo was a King-smasher-of-cliques…that didny sit too well with a lot of folk on here who, at times…must have felt compromised with their closeness of Celtic FC personnel past and, present.

The flags of King Kojo and his Great Amigo The Singing Detective will ‘always’ fly high and proud on the ole Jungle roof.

We are all or mostly all Celtic supporters on CQN but we all view life through our own eyes differently and from time to time discuss our views on here with others who hold a totally different point of view.In my opinion this is healthy and helps us consider other points of view. What is not healthy is when one or two posters decide to bully others because they dont agree with what has been said and that is what happened to Kojo he had been on this blog for along time and eventually the bullying got to him and he decided enough was enough life is to short to take constant abuse from people you dont know but who call themselves Celtic supporters. H.H.
