CELTIC will kick off their Champions League bid with a mouth-watering encounter against European king pins Real Madrid on Tuesday September 6 at Parkhead.
The Spaniards are first up as Group F of Europe’s most prestigious tournament gets underway in the east end of Glasgow in front of a sell-out crowd.
Ange Postecoglou’s men will then take on Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk at Legia Warsaw’s stadium in Poland on September 14 before moving onto Germany for the first of a double-header with RB Leipzig on October 5.
That is followed by the visit of last season’s Europa League semi-finalists six days later.
Then it’s Shakhtar in Glasgow a fortnight later and the group concludes with an intriguing trip to the Bernabeu Stadium to face Carlo Ancelotti’s all-stars on November 2.
