You can’t get into the SFL unless you’re a member of the SFA and rule 8.1.2 of the National Club Licensing Section 8 – Legal, Admin and Finance Criteria –
Financial Information – requires –
A club is required to submit a summary of financial information covering the reporting year for 2011 and the previous two years i.e. 2010 and 2009 as detailed below.
SPL clubs – by 31 March 2012
All other clubs – by 30 April 2012

Haven’t read back yet – do you mean for a UEFA License, which is required to play in the SPL? If so the SFA cannot grant an exemption to this rule, only UEFA can.

4.why have their been so many ‘honest refereeing mistakes’ over the years?
5. Why is our manager so despised by not only the hun but by our supposed allies in the SPL and sfl?
Surely if this truly was our country , one that we could be proud of the above would not be a reality?

Seems SFA membership is a two stage process. First join as an associate, wait five years then you are in. Section 6 of the SFA Articles of Association.

Don’t think this actually matters now. At one point a few years ago, the leaders of the main opposition parties (Iain Duncan Smith and Charles Kennedy) were both Catholics. It was confirmed I believe that their religion would not be a barrier to office if either had won the next general election.
It’s one of these odd hangovers that has never been repealed – like the existence of the death penalty for having an affair with Princess Anne…

I believe these “articles” are really a platform for the newspaper to publish what it believes.
I used to work in newspapers and that was the case then.
The players who were writing the articles used to phone in on the Friday to find out what they were saying!

There is no constitutional bar to a Catholic holding any Government office.
The process is that if you jon the SFL then you must apply to become a member of the SFA
SFL Rule 16 – A Member or Associate Member who is not already a full or associate member of the Scottish Football Association must make application to
become a full or associate member of the Scottish Football Association (as
the case may be) within fourteen (14) days of being admitted to membership
of the League failing which its membership of the League will lapse, and in

i also feel goods from the celtic shops are of crap/poor quality……….i have stuff from years ago still in great nick, whereas stuff from now is really really poor.

Anyone else heard we might be in the sights of the guys who own the Lotus formula one team for a takeover. They are apparently looking to buy a number of ‘second tier’ clubs in Europe, that are well known and can generate a decent income with the right resources.
