CQN TV on Celtic, Champions League and G.o.D.

466

This is our second CQN TV stint where Glasgow’s hottest model and TV presenter Nicole and social media masters’ student, Suzie, ask me about the season ahead Celtic and our Champions League chances.  I also get a great question about the Generation of Domination, which I’ve not written much about here recently, but you’d better believe it’s coming.

It was great fun talking about Our Celtic, hope you enjoy it.

Rigormortisation. The word for this or any day. Really laughed out loud at that. Sums things up perfectly. Brilliant. Has put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

    Oh, Auldheid,

Thanks for your reply yesterday evening. Another outstanding post (among so many) from your good self. It’s so good to be a Celtic supporter at this moment in time.

    Roberto Mancini ./ Russia.

Italian media are claiming that there is ” no credible confirmation that Mancini has contracted to be the Manager of Russia “.

Italian media has claimed that ” out of control egos ” have caused much “infighting and a big power struggle within the Russian FA “.

Italian media has claimed that Mancini has been offered the job but it is possible that Capello / Guardiola/ Prandelli and Low have also been offered the job ..

The truth will come out ,eventually.

  5. Another week, another chapter in teh saga. Never mind, the football will be back soon.

I see that some SFL clubs are unhappy with their CEO. Looks like Longmuir, Doncaster and Regan could all be looking for new jobs soon with a bit of luck.

  6. 24 they have no youth system to bring players through

    25 they cannot buy anyone

  7. So, is the three years necessary audit rule just a myth? Or is it a case of Britannia waives the Rules?

  8. Gordon_J

You are my last hope before I go out.

Can you point me in the direction of the Three years audit Rule?

  9. You can’t get into the SFL unless you’re a member of the SFA and rule 8.1.2 of the National Club Licensing Section 8 – Legal, Admin and Finance Criteria –

    Financial Information – requires –

A club is required to submit a summary of financial information covering the reporting year for 2011 and the previous two years i.e. 2010 and 2009 as detailed below.

     SPL clubs – by 31 March 2012

     All other clubs – by 30 April 2012

The huns never had a normal subutteo team you had to buy asterix figures for a likeness.

-> The hun poster you quoted actually has a point. Celtic’s store at Glasgow airport is a small but vital statement that Celtic are Glasgow’s premier club, with an ‘in your face’ presence – from the moment you arrive in the City – until you leave. Bayern have a big store in Munich airport, valencia in valencia airport etc etc. I think it is great that we have a shop at Glasgow Airport, and i have been in there when FC Utrecht were over (playing St Mirren in a friendly). Dutch fans were all in the Celtic store buying stuff, and 1 guy asked if there is a rangers shop as well. the other Dutch supporters started laughing, and saying that ‘why would there be? who would want to buy that stuff?’ etc. this is FC utrecht – a fairly hunnish bunch apparently! The guy in the shop explained that the huns store had gone out of business.

If we want to appear as a ‘Big Club’ then we have to maintain a ‘Big Club’ mindset – in terms of market presence, signings, high profile friendlies, foreign tours (often tiring), retail (sometimes loss-making), etc. If we keep pushing hard enough, and keep working to maximise exposure, then income will (slowly) continue to grow.

I think your media are couple of hours late.

Your and British media are on :

    -one of the candidates

    -is Russia interested in Mancini?

Another sources in Russia conform the news.

Prandelli, Capello , Guardiola are the smokescreen to cover scandal there. Taking how serious these sources in Russia are I would say that contract with Mancini was signed. If you are interested I can find what is the latest news on the subject.

Mancini chose 7,2 m Euros in Russia against 2,5 m euros at Manchester City. It’s 2+2 years contract. Mancini takes a job on July 15th.

Yeah, you know these lazy journalists with google translations.

Rumours in your media come from Russian sources. There you have the answer why they are late.

  14. kitalba

Good man. Thank you. One final (?) question. I have read that enforcement of that rule is discretionary. Is it?

  15. Philvisreturns

If it is our country then please answer me the following.

    1. Why are they currently not playing in a public park.?

    2. Why is a roman catholic not allowed to be a monarch or a prime minister for that matter ?

3 why is it acceptable to hold sectarian marches ?

4.why have their been so many ‘honest refereeing mistakes’ over the years?

    5. Why is our manager so despised by not only the hun but by our supposed allies in the SPL and sfl?

Surely if this truly was our country , one that we could be proud of the above would not be a reality?

  16. In the DR i see Murdo is greeting his wee heart oot at his beloved oldco not being in the SPL

I suppose his views couldn’t be tainted by his employment at the DR and the BBC?

  17. 2. Why is a roman catholic not allowed to be a monarch or a prime minister for that matter ?

Don’t think this actually matters now. At one point a few years ago, the leaders of the main opposition parties (Iain Duncan Smith and Charles Kennedy) were both Catholics. It was confirmed I believe that their religion would not be a barrier to office if either had won the next general election.

It’s one of these odd hangovers that has never been repealed – like the existence of the death penalty for having an affair with Princess Anne…

I’ve said before I doubt these guys are coming up with these articles by themselves.

If you’ve heard murdo speak you’ll know what I mean.

I believe these “articles” are really a platform for the newspaper to publish what it believes.

I used to work in newspapers and that was the case then.

The players who were writing the articles used to phone in on the Friday to find out what they were saying!

No reason to believe anythings changed today.

  19. I used to love the speculation surrounding the ole Carlsberg Fridays when we dreamt of ‘marquee’ signings brightening up our summers. Since Valentines day I’ve had more Carslberg moments than they have season ticket holders. A perfect day would be:

    1. New club into Div.3 (sorry Div 3)

    2. Traynor sacked from the BBC

    3. Reagan and Doncaster gone.

    4. Stripped of the EBT titles

    5. Sir David to be called David

6.The big hoose shut doon as they relocate to Cowdenbeath

    7. Sally banned fae Greggs

    8. Arrests made by Fraud squad

9.Bomber to get his own talk show

    10. Wee Oscar getting good news

  20. Jungle Jim:

There is no constitutional bar to a Catholic holding any Government office.

  24. The process is that if you jon the SFL then you must apply to become a member of the SFA

SFL Rule 16 – A Member or Associate Member who is not already a full or associate member of the Scottish Football Association must make application to

become a full or associate member of the Scottish Football Association (as

the case may be) within fourteen (14) days of being admitted to membership

of the League failing which its membership of the League will lapse, and in

the event that the application is unsuccessful, its membership will lapse

upon that decision being intimated to the League.

kitalba. Fella you are missing the point imo you can state rules chapter and verse but they dont apply to newco I thought by now that would be fairly obvious. The cheating that is taking place right in front of our eyes and if it succeeds it will kill Scottish football as we will have a cheats charter for rules.H.H.

i also feel goods from the celtic shops are of crap/poor quality……….i have stuff from years ago still in great nick, whereas stuff from now is really really poor.

celtic mugs polo tops etc colours fading really quickly after a few washes. i know it sounds petty, but sorry it pisses me off…..they are not cheap!

If their is no constitutional bar to a catholic becoming a PM then it’s a bit funny there ain’t been one reminds me of the good old days when the hun used to say we would play RCs but we just ain’t found one good enough to play for us yet!

  29. Anyone else heard we might be in the sights of the guys who own the Lotus formula one team for a takeover. They are apparently looking to buy a number of ‘second tier’ clubs in Europe, that are well known and can generate a decent income with the right resources.
