But there comes a time when the green tinted specs have to come off and reality is faced down. Any you guys help me here ? Someone I know was over for the Champions League game game on 3/8/16 and parked the car at the Forge shopping centre, I have just received a letter from Smart Parking advising that if I don’t pay £45 within 14 days I will have to pay £90 as a parking charge.
Has anyone else had this shit and what’s the craic with it? What’s the best way to deal with it. I live in N. Ireland, is this enforceable ?

No reason not to park there again. It is against the law for a private company to enforce non parking in a car park like the forge. They legally cannot clamp your car and if they remove it it is theft. It is not like illegally parking on the street.
