Determined by Dundee

364

It will be 4 May before action resumes at Celtic Park, by then we will know if we have reached the Scottish Cup Final and positions at the top of the table will be significantly determined by Dundee.  I’m pleased our manager has not spent the best part of two weeks throwing material to be pinned to the dressing room door their way.  Maybe Brendan is too experienced to do this?  Maybe he’s just not over-anxious.

We have scored 13 goals in three games against Dundee this season, conceding only once (when we were seven goals ahead), so Brendan Rodgers will have no complaints that the post-split fixtures send us away there, instead of another trip to St Mirren, which was the alternative.

It is also good to get this game out of the way first, leaving us with three games at home from the final four.  All will be difficult, but the incentive is a huge motivation.

  1. I can’t/ won’t watch them so looking in here and livescore updates. Feels like 3 hrs already.

Penalty and red card inevitable. The hun ref is under order from above. Crawbag Allhun and Ian Maxhun. 😂

  3. I don’t bet but penalty in the game and Tav pen to score anytime must be a decent punt – throw in Red card for Dundee and you could buy a holiday.

Fully expecting the huns to win all their remaining league games except the one against us . That way we will keep our focus pin sharp .

Pleasant surprises like the one at Dingwall will be most acceptable of course .

Never more glaringly exhibited than by the refusal to give Bougherra a red for dozens – no exaggeration IIRC – of fouls on Robbie Keane after an initial justified yellow.

Keane was incredulous – I am sure he had seen nothing like it in his whole career.

  7. Gone beyond a joke now.

Dundee player taken down as he heads into the box.

Boughera was an animal, pure filth.

Didn’t he knock a card out of a refs hand with impunity ?

  9. Dessers coming on for Roofe.

    😂😂😂

If Dessers fell out of a boat, he’d miss the water. 😂👍

Man City v real is a fabulous watch.

Not a lot of goals but Football at the absolute highest level.

  11. I’m watching the Dundee game. There is nothing between the sides, just a run-of-the-mill mid table like fixture. All extremely ordinary. Ref is having a good game so not sure where some of the comments are coming from. If it’s not 0-0 at the finish (likely) it’s going to be decided by a piece of individual brilliance (unlikely) or a set-piece. Maybe of the 12-yard variety :)

Cmon Dundee, make this a great night.

Penalty bingo folks? I’ll go 74th minute for a nothing challenge.

  13. Real Madrid thought they could park the bus against Manchester City for 45 minutes. Got what they deserved.

  14. the long wait is over on

    Modric coming on for real.

Always rated him a s a player but not as much as I should have done till I saw him in the flesh against us.

What a player – everywhere on the pitch and read the game like no-one else.

87 still leaves 25 mins for an equaliser lol

Surprisingly, they only get tonnes of added time when they need to score. 😂👍
