Hamiltontim is correct – we did sign Tommy Burns last night. I was behind the goals – best atmosphere I can remember at Tannadice including the nights we won the league there – the 3-2 game in early eighties when Tommy scored included. Last night reminded me of that – I was looking at the young supporters all around me and thought That was me that wonderful Wednesday night. Great atmosphere.

We didn’t sign You’ll Never Walk Alone last night – think they forgot!

  2. Best day ever had at the racing, an evening meeting at Naas, private room overlooking the finishing line, free bar and food, waiters and the like, all for nada, first race Mrs TET got a 10/1 winner, she liked the name, Amber Nectar, she only went and stuck 100 euros on it, never saw a penny of it, shoes, lots of shoes she decided was the way to spend her winnings, I lost a tenner overall, so was delighted.

I wasn’t questioning HT, I was only listening to the telly, loved all the ex-players getting recognised even though half the bams bolted…… Trust me I wasn’t complaining but Tommy is probably what Celtic is all about more than Boruc, Cadette, Larsson & Andy Thom put together, pity there wasn’t a “Paul McStay, Paul McStay, Paul McStay…..Paul McStay, Paul McStayyyyy” as well

My first ever competitive away game, apart from cup finales. Easter Rd 1973[i think].

Drumchapel bus to game, crisps and lemonade outside pub before game. Drunks to the left of me alkies to the right. Avoiding vomit and urine during game. Pomange bottles exploding all around me, we won the league again.

I was fecking hooked for life

  6. While I’m on and I should be off. CQN tows the party line. it’s become the new Celtic view. Dissenters are now malcontents. C’mon the malcontents. HH

My first unchaperoned away game was at Easter Rd in the 70’s too.

Can’t recall a thing about the game other than it finished a draw. Crystal clear, is the memory of eating a magic Pie-supper on the Dalriada bus after the game. It just tasted so wonderfully different. That was down to the salt n’ sauce but it was another few years before I discovered what made it so different.

  8. I was there in Kerrydale st in 94 and saw the bile from so called Celtic people against good Celtic supporters. I’m now witnessing the same again.

And in that post there, is Celtic.

We may need helpers I’ll be in touch.

Be aware that unfortunately we may get some abuse.

Sadly, I’m having to arrange for someone else to bring my 12 year old daughter to meet me after the recruitment drive because I worry for her safety after the vitriol from posts I’ve read on here.

  11. I would give Scott Allen a start for the next game. Give him a run out.

Tell you what, he has a hard dirty edge to his game.

  12. The Grants ,Whites and Kellys were inept at ripping us of. The current Tory crew of Bankier Livingston and Lawell are incredibly good at selling us out and ripping us off.
