3 points after a midweek european game , which earlier in the season would have in all probability been points dropped , I will take that every time.
Big Dan and Glenn were superb at the back as were Victor and Beram in the middle , strange substitution at one point but well deserved 3 points.
Go get em Bhoys.

Three points in the bag and a good run of results continues…..
A few posts on the substitutions, can I suggest DU had adapted well to our very bright start and we made the changes in an attempt to put some drive back into our performance. If the team had been left as is we may have ended the game on the back foot which clearly did not happen as were pushing on for a second goal.

Very seldom we have a brilliant game after a mid-week European tie. We started off well and were unlucky not to have put the game to bed by half-time.
In the main we controlled the game and rarely looked under pressure at any time.
Hard work – 2 players back in the squad and a good 3 points – can’t complain!

I don’t think we were ‘terrible’ at all. I think we did enough to deserve the win, and United barely got a look-in. Five SPL wins in a row, and at a venue we often find tough. Win the next three games and I believe we’ll top the pile before the year is out.

Great win , great performance.. just great to be a celt. On the back of a tough euro game celtic controlled this game today. The tempo dipped in the second half but we always looked to be in command. I was disapointed to see Glen going off , i thought he and Dan were immense. Berham and Victor ruled the roost and everyone else played their part, including our superb fans.

No argument with your credentials as a Celtic fan,I was just wondering how you figure that you are frequently abused on here when you post less frequently than that!
There are plenty of reasons to feel aggrieved on here without imagining things. If someone disagrees with what you say, analyse it and reply, either with a counter-argument or a “fair play,I was wrong”
Works for most of us.

Well I have seen us play better, but a clean sheet and three points, just what we needed. Not convinced it was the best set-up, but we could and should have added at least one more goal. Noticed Udinese beat Inter away last night, equal top on points with AC Milan, still that is for another week!

Great 3 points today – Tannadice never an easy venue after a well contested mid-week match against a top European team.
Good first half, sloppy second half but a welcome 3 points.
Can someone please explain why we consistently lose possession from throw ins? It looks like we just don’t have a clue. And what was Adam Matthews taking corners for when he never got them by the first man, poor show.

I thought very strange to remove Loovens as he was solid enough and Victor was doing great in mid-field. After about 60mins anyone of Sammy Stokes Hooper or Forrest could have been taken off cos they wernt effective. It worked out ok in the end but IMHO it could have been much easier .
Anyway we won and now we look forward -is Udinese next?

We needed Brown on at that stage. Personally I would have hooked Sammaras but Neil obviously wanted him on. Neil also thinks Wanyama is a better CH than Loovens. So proper decision IMHO.

Well
A wee 1-0 victory which should have been 2 or 3 certainly warms the cockles.
Wanyama and Kayal ran the show easily bossing the midfield 3 until Wanyama moved back and Broonie grabbed the Captains arm band back.
Young Forrest also played well, corner kicks aside.
A few players looked of the boil after looking sprightly in the first 20 or so.
Watching on TV doesn’t afford the viewer a full picture of the game or a players performance so I can’t be too critical of anyone.
Although saying that. Big Dan!!! I give him it tight when he’s gash but today the big man didn’t put a foot wrong.
MWD still sees buckets loads room for improvement
