  1. Good result at a ground we can struggle at.

First 20 minutes were great then we dropped a bit. Kayal and Wanyama were top performer, Stokes was offside more than Scott McDonald.

I know a few Huns thought we could drop points today so GIRUT we didn’t.

SFA to review Sone Aluko penalty award in Rangers win

The Scottish FA are likely to review an incident that let to a penalty for Rangers in their 2-1 win over Dunfermline, BBC Scotland has learned.

Pars manager Jim McIntyre claimed Rangers’ Sone Aluko dived to with the spot-kick, converted by Nikica Jelavic.

Alleged simulation can be processed using the SFA’s fast-track procedures and compliance officer Vincent Lunny is expected to review the incident.

A decision would be made on Monday at the earliest.

The penalty was awarded by referee Steve Conroy when Rangers were already a goal up, with Martin Hardie the player penalised.

However after Jelavic netted, Joe Cardle pulled one back for the Dunfermline to set up a tense second half

  5. anyone see that wee piece of skill by Stokesy on tha far side by-line, 2nd half ?

unlucky not to get thro on goal there

    was McGeady-esque

  6. Track back this week and look at some of your comments to other posters. I used to enjoy your posts, I prefer the old Vmhan. I don`t like Celtic fans calling other Celtic fans huns. Calling a hun a hun is fine ;)

So. Moving Victor… who was Playing exceptionally well.. to C.B. seemed like a sensible Option , tae Mak room fur, Broonie.. as a .. well. Right Winger..which also

in daeing so.. inspired the move of Forrest Tae Go over tae the Left Wing.. and because of that…

It also made it Imperative that Sammi hid tae Move into his very worst Position ,in the Center ,as a Striker..

    Heck.. Who Am Ah kidding?

    Ye are Right!

  8. Listen to Shortbread for the first time on years. They are woeful.

Cha gets shot away in the area and fouled at the same time. Shot is well over the top. Beggs and Dodds agree no penalty as “he.managed to execute his shot”

    Absolute disgrace.

  9. i like the wording on all the reports about the Aluko dive

“The penalty was awarded by referee Steve Conroy when Rangers were already a goal up, ”

as if the big point is not the dive but “rangers were already a goal up” is the main point here

as if the dive would only matter if it was 0-0 or 1-1 but with them “already a goal up” its not that big a deal

the only word missing at the end of that sentence is Timmy.

    Haha,fair play mate!

I don’t think anyone is on your case TBH,just chill out, relax, and enjoy the three points.

We were pretty poor in the second half, but points make prizes, and I’ll settle for that.

yes buckets load of improvement will do

they are young though and they are forming

we are getting more cohesive though

there is a certain togetherness that is becoming apparent

wanyama is a find and Kayal is growing well

the corners need looking at though

wasted opportunities….especially when dan or glen are in the box

when sutton/larrson/hartson were around…we scored regularly with the heid….

    not any more……

corners are a free kick at heids!!!

    we dont convert though

still happy we are keeping” them” honest….if thats possible!!

    hail hail

  13. The Scottish FA should also ask referee Steve Conroy how is it possible in a competitive game that only one foul was given against rANGERs in the whole game.

  19. “European hangover” game navigated successfully. Squad rotation by including Cha worked. Winning 1-0, while scoring an early goal tells you as much about the team as winning 5-0 does. Concentration and application are evident too. A good day in all, keeping up the pressure on the dignified rowing club.

Think Vic being moved back tae let Broonie get a run out shows two things for me,firstly that he has complete trust in Big Vic tae play at the back .

Secondly an more worrying for me is that move looks the route back in tae the first team for Broonie ie a permanent step back in tae the back four for Vic.

Vic n Kayal as a partnership are as good as any central midfield that Celtic have deployed in ma time watching Celtic all be it based on a limited number of performances.

Breaking that up to accommodate Brown is a mistake,Brown should stay on the bench till losss of form or injury lets him back in.

Really pleased wae the result, nitpicking our shys are rank amateur Matthews should be taken aff corner kick duty.

  22. “Privately, the police have admitted that it is their intention to “smash” the Irish Republican, Marxist Green Brigade.”

Apologies if this point’s been made before but the question should be asked – just how do Strathclyde’s finest know that the members of the Green Brigade are “Marxist?” Misuse of extensive surveillance, perhaps.

I know there’s a lot going on in the world but I must have missed the news that having left-of-centre viewpoints has been declared illegal. I would have thought that the Guardian would have gone big on that particular piece of legislation. Scotland, right up there with Zimbabwe, Syria, North Korea…………………..

Could not agree more with regards to Wanyama and Kayal. They must start every game in midfield from now on. Yet again i was mystified by Lennon taking of Loovens, and moving Vic into the back line. If its not broken dont try to mend it. A very strange substitution that one.

The main thing we won. Who is next in line.
