  1. My overwhelming feeling is one of relief. That is followed by sheer delight.

I, like Tontine Tim, can remember way too many times we have played teams off the park, especially the deid team, and got nothing from the game.

Let’s hope we crack on. If we get Ryan Christie and Tom Rogic back shortly, I think we ought to give our captain a wee rest.

Imo, today is not a day to be discussing our manager’s future. Leave that til we win the Treble.

  2. One of Neil’s difficulties over the next 2 weeks is the number of players he will lose to International Duty and the effect this will have on preparations for the 31st March game.

Stevie G will lose very few to Internationals. Morelos & maybe Lafferty and Davis. I don’t think there are any in the Scotland squad so he can work on nearly his full squad over the next 2 weeks.

We should all start advising Alex McLeish of how good Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield are.

  3. Wow…That was nail-bitingly close. I’ve now got a repetitive strain injury with refreshing every 30 seconds. Why do we make it so hard for ourselves? Stated before the start that the line-up didn’t fill me with confidence, and I’m an eejit.

On to other news regarding our baby donkey who is now 8 days old and looking grand.

First of all, a very Big Thank You from all our family for thinking about us and making us the recipient of the Seville Beneficiary for Goals Galore 4. We really do appreciate the support we receive and the confidence it gives us to carry on and, indeed, develop our wee community of donkeys, ponies, tortoises and assorted other animals – mostly rescued ones.

The naming of our baby donkey became obvious as the week progressed towards the 17th March. In November we lost our beloved donkey, Patrick, at the age of 42. Patrick was our Go-To donkey. We could take him anywhere – Old Folk’s Homes, Church, village halls, Community Rehab – nothing was out of bounds for Patrick and we miss him terribly. It’s been hard not to have a Patrick around….So welcome to FRED, Patrick Delaney McG. A Happy Saint Patrick’s Day just got a lot Happier!

Hail Hail The Celts Are Here

:)))) Thanks for that, there’s supporters all over the world who would have given anything to have seen French Eddy’s shot hit the back of the net regardless of how we played and I’m one of them:))

We’ll walk a million miles for one of your goals oh Celtic!

“Ironic that you do this often on here.”

I can’t recall ever dismissing your negative opinions as being due to you being in the employ of Rangers.

On the contrary, I think you are completely responsible for what you write and have no alternative motivation for expressing your thoughts.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the ones that don’t hang around to celebrate with the Bhoys:))

There’s a distinct possibility that I may see the one Orc I know over here and I know my grin will break his wee heart, no words just that shit eating grin:))

I’ve got a t shirt somewhere with 96 on the front must dig it out:))

One step closer to The Eight:))

3 wins, 1 draw and we’re 10 clear – thanks lennie. Difficult times ahead as he gets used to the team and vice versa at a super important time.

    “SFTB

    Again with your deflection.

I never said you were in employed by Rangers.

    But you already know that.”

Of course I know that. My point has flown over your head.

    I reversed your formula.

You attributed my views as being due to being in the employ of Celtic.

I stated that your contrary views were NOT due toy being in the employ of Rangers.

I would not play tit-for-tat on this stupid exchange because it has descended into childishness.

So, I’ll take my big Celtic smile elsewhere for a while but don’t worry, it will not leave my face for a while.

  10. On reflection.

    Sinclair penalty not awarded.

James missed a couple of sitters.

How would we feel had we won by a couple or three more?

  11. Scaniel 3.31pm

All the very best for what you & the family do with your time and effort for the animals

Bateen Bhoy has taken up the baton from Jobo and CRC does what CRC always does :-)

As somebody who only contributes a couple of quid I enjoy reading about the good work our LMS / Goals Galore bhoys do

Still buzzing …. and for the PlayStation fitba managers all that counts is 3pts in the bag ?

Hail Hail …. we are “nearly” at 8 :-)

  12. Wee request.

Please offer a prayer for our family.

We lost a dear brother last week due to a tragic accident.

Off to mass to pray for us all to be given the strength to endure.

    Thanks and God bless.

  13. We were poor today but what a way to win the game! Why can’t everyone just enjoy the moment?

Away and have a Guinness and calm doon! ?? Nae Guinness icons on the phone ?

  14. ‘GG hope you’ll agree that at this point in the season…only 3 points matter…the manner of the 3 points will be lost to history ;-))

    H.H.

  15. SFTB

    In the spirit of childishness.

I have no worries or opinions on fellow posters facial expressions.

  16. Analysis can wait, and there will be plenty amongst our foes ready to wade in: enjoy the rest of the day. A lot of us have some hard yards ahead of us during the week, we are not at performing as an attractive football side at the moment.

However, I think we would be happy with that result in 2 weeks time.

  17. Fan…thank you, you also… am trying…but there’s some posters on here with a sense of self that are unbecoming ;-))

  18. MNCELT. Thanks a million for that link. I’ll watch that a couple of dozen times tonight. More craic in that then in 95 minutes of Football. I exclude the last 2 minutes of the game.

  19. BOURNESOUPRECIPE on 17TH MARCH 2019 3:37 PM

STARRY PLOUGH Do some of these posters on here actually greet when Celtic score a late winner?

*I did when big JVH nodded that one home in time added on, I was in my office at the time and following the game on here, luckily it was a corner office so nobody could see that my eyes had filled up.

  20. the bhoys never gave up against a team set up 5-4-1 then 6-4

very hard to break down but we did well done celtic.

  21. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Poor performance, brilliant result.

No ambivalence here, I feel magic.

Have some sympathy for Neil – he possibly doesn’t know whether to stick or twist with Brendan’s team and tactics?

He needs our support. 8IAR is urgent but less important, the rebuild is important but less urgent.

With that result we are just about there with the first.

I suspect we’ll need a new pair of hands at the helm for the second but that is for another day.

    Enjoy your night Lennie !

    PS ….

    St Stivs @ 12:35 – naughty boy.

    St Stivs @ 12:35 – thank you.

    Hail hail

  22. TimH…5-5 at times, within 30 yards.. but we were supposed to what? walk it in, cross it in, shoot from distance, hope for luck…or be patient ;-))

    H.H

  23. Probs should read back…read all the negatonians posts…;-)) my question is…are the servers faster now that they’ve gone? ;-))

    H.H.

  24. Absolutely delighted with today’s win. That is what good teams do. I really hope that the level of professionalism that Rodgers brought to the team can be maintained and if possible improved further. That will take a good deal of money to bring the proper people for the job but if we are serious about improving we need to clear out the dead wood and bring 2 or 3 real quality hungry young players and the staff required to make progress . Stand still and you go backwards.
