  1. Whew!!

The starting line up and I thought the subs were baffling. We kept going though and got the late late winner again…

    That’s why we’re Champions ?⚽?☘️???

You all have me to thank for that win.

When the stream dropped out yet again with a few minutes of regulation time left, I decided not to refresh, thinking that if I’m not watching, Celtic will score.

    And look what happened.

So as a mark of appreciation, could someone post a link to the goal?

    Cheers,

    Al

Roon ye, Faithless non supporting “fans”

Ye’ll claim to be happy now, ur ye, aye?

Some of the comments on here this afternoon from supposed Celtic supporters were disgraceful.

    ……………..

one hundred per cent with you there Doc…

happy St Patricks day to you and yours ….

hail hail the Celtic and Glorious St Patrick

  4. On a day when many of our players underperformed (and 2 of those under performers gave us the win), I want to praise the performance of one player who prevented us going behind on several of the breakaway attacks by Dundee.

Kieran Tierney’s positional sense was a masterclass today.

MOTM all the way for me.

  5. onenightinlisbon on

Congratulations to the champions. Dire stuff, a few players not on form (how many games have they played). Nice way to prepare for the visit of Sevco.

  6. Chic focuses on the Magic Six Minutes…………….

horrible hurtin’ wee “St Mirren Fan” eh!

    :)

  7. Miracles do happen.

And given our performance today we needed a miracle.

Turgid dross from a squad that looks sell-shocked and desperately in need of some leadership and some coaching. We look lost at the moment, everything has to go through SB and he is phoning it in — something needs to be done for our future and his legacy.

Today our performance was not NL1 bad — it was TM at St Mirren bad.

ScS — Thanks for the memories, you are a trier.

JF — Thanks for the memories, you are a non trier.

MJ — Your day will come so stick in.

OB / TW / VIB — Hopefully things improve but you are not the issue, the coaching staff are the issue.

  8. FOOL TIME WHISTLE on 17TH MARCH 2019 2:24 PM

1-0 doesn’t excuse things. Delighted but can’t seem to feel that way at the moment.

*well I do, cast your mind back tae playing teams aff the park, especially deidco, and coming away empty handed.

Today is why we are champions, lets not forget Dundee are in a dog fight tae stay up and every point is a prisoner, we had 63% possession, 24 shots of which 8 were on target against 8 and 3 and only conceded 5 fouls.

And tae make it better its the feast day of the Dumbarton born and bred dear saint of our isle and the teles will be getting volleyed oot the windae in deepest darkest ayr, larkhall and the badlands of lothian, while madhun will be labelled a tarrier bassa. After all doesn’t he have a Tim name.

  9. Another reminder of ’88…last gasp wins…couldnae be happier ;-)) And as for the extra time…that’s what happens when yer team deliberately, constantly, fake injuries to slow the game down…MOTM…Boaby Madhun lol ;-))

    H.H.

  10. Neustadt-Braw, sad when you are happy we won to get it roon supposed Celtic fans.

That wasn’t supporting our own team by a few, of course many were supporting.

Even through the frustration of a difficult game.

  11. The injury time allocation was completely appropriate. there were 4 occasions when a Dundee player stayed down for around a minute after a clash and a lengthy spell down for Kris Ajer too.

I think both sides used 3 subs too.

And, the clincher, there would have been no reference to injury time controversy if Dundee had taken their chance in the 94th minute (thanks again KT for preventing that!)

  12. Doing my “look their eating chips tae” and just thinking, personally I don’t think Lenny is the mhan for the job however when we do clinch our 8th in a row he will have been boss for 4 of them. That should get him a decent job elsewhere.

  13. So, I know nowt about Fitba’ but playing a side who park two buses behind the ball as they battle for their very survival……………..is always going to be a huge ask………………..

    Deeeeeeelighted for the Bhoys!

:Ajer and O’Dea down with head injuries…did the wee prk mention the 5 minutes added at Poundland yesterday?

  15. glendalystonsils on

The Dundee players were playing to orders….any contact in the box….go down , stay down , break up play. 6 minutes was karma.

  16. Thanks for the longer version of the goal.

Just enough time to see JF pass aimlessly into space and we lose possession.

Fair play to SB to anticipate their pass and win the ball back.

JF then makes the run and provides the cutback.

It might have taken him 96 minutes and 5 seconds but at least he provides one good bit of play.

  17. Indeed, SFTB’s, bob on, several injuries, 6 substitutions, 6 minutes was entirely appropriate.

Dundee were also taking as much time as possible at every set piece, keeping the ball when a foul was awarded, usual tactics when going for a point.

Any complaints about that come from the perma ragin’

    MadMitch

who intercepted the ball for the pass to the guy who showed composure before setting up French Eddy ?

who was the guy who set up French Eddy ?

who have been our main men this year ? (along with the likes of callum btw he ws playing today too)

what planet are some of you on ? sons of chic young ?

  19. Neil Lennon’s terrible clueless coaching has given a shell-shocked team and support

    An away win at Tynecastle

An away win in the Cup at Easter Road

A boring draw at home to an in-form Dons

And another away win at Dens Park

    Not too shabby.

He is and will be our manager all the way to 8iar.

Any discussion about his future and suitability can wait till then.

Thanks Neil Lennon for what you have done for us at a difficult time.

  20. If it all goes tits up and Lenny doesn’t get the job, we need not worry as there is a vast array of coaching talent on CQN who happen to be in between jobs by the looks of it ;))))))

  21. BB…………..of course not. That’s the problem with these plants. And he’s the worst of the “currant” rum lot………. It’s natural for thum to support thur team and view us cynically as the “enemy”……….the emotions of sport and football are very, very, simple, but very potent.

With iShortie professional objectivity rarely, if ever, gets a look in.

  22. A nerve shredding rollercoaster of a ride again today, but wouldnt change it for the world :))))) Not play anywhere near our best and still come away with win & 3pts,would take that every game till the end of the season after the bombshell BR set off.

This is how it feels to be Celtic,League cup in the bag semi of Scottish cup and 10 pts clear going into international break.

Enjoy the rest of your day Bhoys & Ghirls.

    Today was a good dayCSC

  23. onenightinlisbon on

Cannot agree with anyone on here who says we have players who are “non triers”. What would they possibly have to gain from that. Players cannot maintain perfect form for a whole season. We have a squad who have played a huge number of matches this season and maybe fatigued but to call our bhoys non triers is a disgrace.
