  1. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

    Hi,fellas. I’ll read back shortly.

Today was the kinda day that every day is when the troops hit the road.

I’m trying to figure out a polite way of saying it,but…

I love you all to bits,I don’t deserve you, yeezuraw magic.

Company like today is just wow…

Gerryfae … As one of those who have been critical of SB’s play (although I will say that I have never met any CQNer that I would describe as a ‘hater’), I will acknowledge that he is MUCH improved in the games I have seen this season.

  3. Nae pictures :(

I suppose the clue is in ‘WordPress’

New website required, c’mon P67, it’s the future.

  4. G64- hope you are well big guy, a Bhoy asked me today, if we have signed a better player since the MON era, than Kolo Toure?

Your good self & Jmccormick are two bloggers I would like to meet, for no other reason than I enjoy what you both post …… No nastiness just posts about Celtic, food and blinking daft words :-)

Some might slag the “hoots” but am afraid they are so wide of the mark they will never realise

  6. Bada bing – take your point about Kolo but if we had big Vic and FF against Barca, it would have been 2-0 at the most.

  7. Saint Stivs says SACK THE BOARD on

i miss the old six bar.

i used to eat them two at a time.

    known as a 6-2

  8. Bada Kolo is the consummate centre half. He can read the game like a book and knows exactly where to be at the right time. Eric and Jozo will learn playing with him. And he gets us. An inspirational signing by BR. Hh

To reaper … McIlroy looks like a man on a mission. Some of his teammates need to step it up a bit to match him

I can assure you there are many SB dislikers on here and elsewhere in the Celric support, SB is now hopefully injury free, meh has KT (not Kieran) helping him now, Kolo Toure is such a calming influence on our captain, every Celtic manager in the last 4 have loved Broony, watch the way BR interacts with our captain, he is the ultimate professional and actually a better footballer than most think …… Fair play if you didn’t, but there is plenty on here ready to have a dig at our captain, in my opinion Celtic are a far better team with the match winner today wearing the captains armband

Neg2 are you ok with a wee 1-0 the day, just asking like, in case your only post when it’s the big games

  11. Does anybody think that Jozo looks a bit chunky ? –

In this day and age footballers look so thin but he appears more like a rugby player.

  12. In the horse and barge.

Left a tenner for Delaneys Dunkey behind the bar.

Something inside so strong on the jukebox.

    Delightful Chocolate comments :)

  14. G64- i think Kolo still has a couple of years left, but i fear the riches of the Indian or Chinese leagues might take him HH

  15. CATHEDRAL VIEW

Old Jamaica is a great chocolate bar, still available in the B&M stores, sorry that I know that , but there you go, a great favourite of me and my dear Da.

    GFTB. ….

Thanks, much appreciated, I do believe that we have trodden the same football pitches, however my salad days were a good decade after your own. I am not a big fan of pub gatherings, prefer a quiet pint and a good cigar, but I never rule anything out.

  16. MIT,

got a feeling that if the European side are only 1 behind tomorrow that they will sneak it,

too much pressurre on the Yanks

    Each to their own …..

I never thought in a million years I would go to a boozer with “fellow eijits” but it’s a wee bit strange, it’s all good…..fellow Celtic fans talking rubbish instead of typing it :-)

If it happens, well and good, if it doesn’t we lose nothing, hope the new job brings everything good your way

  19. mike in toronto on

Gordybhoy… I hope you are right. I think some of the US players are feeling the pressure of being at home, and not having the best record of late. But, player for player, they have as much talent as the euros, if not more.

I think you are right about the crowd/pressure having a large say in the outcome tomorrow; if the yanks get off to a good start tomorrow, they could ride the crowd’s enthusiasm to a victory, buit if the euros get off to a good start, the us players may wilt under the pressure emanating from the home crowd.

Ryder cup is really good viewing, even for people like me who aren’t fanatical about golf

  20. Watched the all Ireland final tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed it although I would have much preferred Mayo to win. Got me thinking,as someone who is involved in amateur football I have to tip my hat to the GAA who invest the money they make back into the game including the replay.

The amateur game in Scotland is on it’s knees as we speak. Unfortunately the reality for 90% of kids who play pro youth is that if they play as adults it will be at amateur level. My own club have at least 6 guys who have been at pro you that some stage. We have guys who play with Scotland at amateur level yet we struggle to get sponsorship. The facilities are overpriced and often poor yet every Saturday people give up their time to give guys the chance to enjoy the game.

When will someone take up the baton and get some of the money put back into the real game. I personally would love to go back to watching Celtic when I can but if I chuck that’s it party over for my club. Time will tell but if something doesn’t change soon this end of the game will wither and die..

    Hail Hail
