    I’ve just watched BBC Alba’s documentary on Jinky. I’m crying like a baby.

     

     

    Harrowing towards the end, a hard thing, but wonderful. Finest footballer I’ve ever seen.

     

     

    Genius I almost took for granted, or didn’t really see, until my uncle Daniel from Dalmuir dragged me down to pitch-level in the Jungle when I was about 8 and said:

     

    “Now. Next time he gets the ball, just watch his feet, his poise, and his courage. Watch him.”

     

     

    I did. He was only about 20 feet away. I was mesmerised. I still am.

    TH/Gordy .. I think I said 50 per cent, and I would add DJ, and figjam as stand outs. Add captains Watson and woods .. Enough guys that I wouldn’t think I’d enjoy having dinner with.

     

     

    But, that aside, the us team is good. If the US can go in 3 up, I don’t see Europe coming back from that deficit tomorrow

    I absolutely expected Westwood to miss that. Outstanding Golfer Tee to Green but has bottled more putts than any Pro on the circuit.

     

    They threw away last 2 holes & possibly Ryder Cup.

    TH … Passionate is good, but that is not the same thing … not saying that the euro team are all angels, but in general there does seem to be a difference in how the American team and fans behave as opposed to the Europeans … And I just prefer the less aggressively in your face, flag-waving style

    Must say I didn’t know Hebcelt had any issues but I saw his name being included in goodwill messages, so I am now assuming he has.

     

    A lovely man whom when I met in the Blane Valley when kindly offered me some Stornaway pudding.

     

    I pray that all 3 will recover their full health and continue to grace this site for many years to come.

    Just watched the Alba documentary on wee Jinky. Still tears rolling down my face.

     

     

    I will always treasure the memories of watching him; wee 10:30 summed it up.

     

     

    Asked what he missed about hime: “Just his presence.” Simple, but summed it up. Agnes comes across as a wonderful loving wife!

     

     

    I’ll watch it again!
